Jesus’ last instructions were for the disciples to stay in Jerusalem and to wait for the Father to send the promises Holy Spirit
He reminded them that the Father would not yet reveal to them end-time details
Their focus was to be on something else- namely, they were to be eye witnesses of the Person and work of Jesus Christ. Their eyewitness accounts were to proceed to the ends of the earth.
