God desires all be saved 1 Tim 2:4

If you seek me Jer 29:13 Js 4:8 draw near to God

Isaiah 57:15, Psalms 15

what of the devout and sincere seeker? God would turn away a sincere person who wants God on such a technicality of not “coming through” Christ to know Him? even if such a one had not heard the gospel? (cooper, 16) (islam, 123, 3:84)

Man, universally, is hostile toward God. Does not ever seek God.

To receive this John 17:3, Eph 2 shows us we’re dead and life is required.

This death is seen in Romans 3 and Romans 8 (Lloyd Jones) (Moo)

We see in 8 that the Spirit is required, which John 3 unpacks somewhat.

And perhaps, the most important aspect of it is seen- DIT

Thus, God must do the seeking if anything is to happen.

Thus, God must seek if anything is to happen— One Mediator.
