what does this mean= Jn 17:3.

what of the devout and sincere seeker? God would turn away a sincere person who wants God on such a technicality of not “coming through” Christ to know Him? even if such a one had not heard the gospel? (cooper, 16) (islam, 123, 3:84)

To receive this John 17:3, Eph 2 shows us we’re dead and life is required.
This death is seen in Romans 3 and Romans 8 (Lloyd Jones) (Moo)
We see in 8 that the Spirit is required, which John 3 unpacks somewhat.
And perhaps, the most important aspect of it is seen- DIT
Thus, God must do the seeking if anything is to happen.
