Does Christ’s blood cover Old Testament believers?
This is a great question.
Romans 4:1–4 NKJV
1 What then shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh? 2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3 For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 4 Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt.
Genesis 15:6 NKJV
6 And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.
Abram was about 75 years old when God gave him the promise.
The Jews think that was saved him was circumcision, the sign and symbol of being God’s people.
Circumcision did not come until 24 years later when God implemented circumcision when Abram was names Abraham.
The point is Abraham believed and it was credited to him as righteousness.
By his faith.
Matthew 8:11–12 NKJV
11 And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Matthew 22:29–32 NKJV
29 Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God. 30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven. 31 But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God, saying, 32 ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”
Jesus talks about them as is they are living.
He says that He is called the God of them, the living and not the dead.
They were alive because of their faith in Christ.
They looked forward to the cross.
John 8:56 NKJV
56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.”

Is there going to be free will in the new heaven and new earth, since there won’t be any sin to tempt us?

There will be free will in heaven.
Adam and Eve had a choice and so do we as well now.
We have to keep in mind that we are born sinners because of their choice.
We still have a choice now, sin(the fruit of knowledge of good and evil) and Jesus(righteousness, Tree of Life).
We become saved because we become aware of our sin and how disgusting it is.
This should lead to repentance and a change in mind.
Then the Holy Spirit takes over, giving us power to chose righteousness and holiness.
The whole point of being a Christian is being grieved by sin, and although we still sin, we keep being repentant and getting stronger against it.
One fruit of the spirit is self control.
The more we abide in Jesus, the more we will have this and many other fruits produced in us.
The self control against sin.
In heaven, we will have new bodies, that are redeemed and not cursed with the weakness to sin all the time.
In heaven/New earth, we will remember what Jesus did on the cross.
He will be the only person maimed and deformed.
This, plus our new fulfilled nature will be glorified and we will have what we have been wanting right now(hopefully) to not sin.
When we are saved, a new nature is born in us.
Imagine like we were meant to be humans, but we have the nature and mind of a pig, or a dog.
Both of these creatures do not feel any shame when they eat their poop, etc.
Then when we give our lives to Christ, we become cognizant of these things, and then one day will be turned into a human, and not have the instincts of these.

Who would God vote for?

God would vote for someone who honors and glorifies Him.
He would want a righteous candidate.
I do not think Jesus/God would be fully Republican or Democrat.

What is Sheol?

Sheol is the Hebrew concept and word for underworld, or hell.
It is where the dead went to go.
It can also be translated as ‘grave’.
When the Old Testament was being translated into Greek, they translated it into their concept of ‘hades’.
The closest thing we have now is the concept of hell.
Hell is not permanent, but like a temporary jail.
The final destination is that they are going to be cast in the Lake of fire.

Are ghosts demons?

Hebrews 9:27 NKJV
27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,
Matthew 25:46 NKJV
46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
2 Corinthians 5:6–8 NKJV
6 So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
Luke 16:22–24 NKJV
22 So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’
2 Corinthians 11:14 NKJV
14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
The bible teaches that people will not be spirits without bodies, just floating around and hanging around here on earth.
The bible does mention that demons can and do go to and fro, right now.
Demons are spirit creatures that can hang around you and maybe observe details that you do not know yourself.
They can transform, so I am sure, that some have imitated the dead to mess with the living.

How do we balance science and faith?

Faith and science go together.
Science is the discovery of God’s power.
Science just means knowledge.
It follows inductive logic.
From specific to general.
There is also deductive logic.
From general to specific.
Proverbs 3:19–20 NKJV
19 The Lord by wisdom founded the earth; By understanding He established the heavens; 20 By His knowledge the depths were broken up, And clouds drop down the dew.
Proverbs 8:22–31 NKJV
22 “The Lord possessed me at the beginning of His way, Before His works of old. 23 I have been established from everlasting, From the beginning, before there was ever an earth. 24 When there were no depths I was brought forth, When there were no fountains abounding with water. 25 Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills, I was brought forth; 26 While as yet He had not made the earth or the fields, Or the primal dust of the world. 27 When He prepared the heavens, I was there, When He drew a circle on the face of the deep, 28 When He established the clouds above, When He strengthened the fountains of the deep, 29 When He assigned to the sea its limit, So that the waters would not transgress His command, When He marked out the foundations of the earth, 30 Then I was beside Him as a master craftsman; And I was daily His delight, Rejoicing always before Him, 31 Rejoicing in His inhabited world, And my delight was with the sons of men.
