What can Happen when you hear and obey God

Nineveh believed God

The word of God went forth with great power that it touched the hearts of men through out the city

How often have you heard the word of God and paid it no mind?

Do you hear the word and pay it no mind?

Luke 6:49 But anyone who hears and doesn’t obey is like a person who builds a house on the ground, without a foundation. When the floods sweep down against that house it will collapse into a heap of ruins

The King of Nineveh called a fast for everyone including all the animals

Exodus 19: 3-6 Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel; Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself. Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.

What has God promised you?

He promised to make you a Holy Nation, Royal Priesthood and He promised to be your God and you would be His people

Acts 2:34-40 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Until I make thy foes thy footstool. Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

How often has God Changed his mind about you?

We deserve one thing but God sends a word that will change our lives.

God tells us that if we would only repent he would cleanse us

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
