Ambassadors for Christ
2 Corinthians 5:17–6:3 NKJV
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 1 We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 For He says: In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 3 We give no offense in anything, that our ministry may not be blamed.
Ambassadors in Chains
Ephesians 6:18–20 NKJV
18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

What it means to be an Ambassador

Ambassadors are diplomats
They represent their own country/state/government/organization in another, on matters of national/organization’s interest. (not personal interests)
They intervene on behalf of own country’s nationals in that foreign land.
They also represent a brand. : Like Zinzi Mandela Hlongwane who was diplomat/ambassador of SA to Denmark.
They initiate and facilitate strategic agreements signed between their state and the state they are ambassadors
They are expected to be resident there and not Citizen.

Christian Ambassadors represent the following

The interests of the kingdom of GOD
The governor, King appointed, Lord Jesus interests on earth
Jesus and the Holy Spirit present to us the interests of God the father, so that we may execute them
To the world we represent or advocate for reconciliation. This is a rare grace never to be received in vain.
this grace comes with favor and
salvation
