1 Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, 2 not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 10 and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

I want to start with an expectation of a greater event that is about to happen - Jesus is coming soon.
For the disciple of Jesus, our greatest anticipation in history is the coming of the Lord Jesus.
32 “From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the very gates. 34 Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
With all the signs that we are seeing in the world with this pandemic, the political instability, the social unrest.. if your greatest expectation in your heart today is when the NFL season will resume or when the NBA will start again, you are in trouble.
The True Follower of Jesus Evaluates Human Events in Light of His Second Coming.
The believer’s reaction when the coronavirus came should be wow, the Lord is coming soon!
Therefore, I will not be alarmed, I will not passively wait I must work.. I must obey the Great Commission.. Blessed is the servant whom the Master finds so doing..

The early disciples were warned not to be quickly shaken not because they feared judgement, but more so because there is work to be done and I have to continue to be about the Father’s business! Doing the work of the Kingdom.

Couple who received the Lord. They’ve been attending a Bible study… I am going to officiate their wedding.
This coming Friday, glory to God, I have the opportunity to lead a whole family to God, the husband wants to be baptized, the wife said, well I am Catholic but I want to receive the Lord Jesus Christ too.
How many have you led to Jesus this week?
When a time of testing befalls mankind in a global scale.. we should look up..
But before the coming of Jesus, something is going to happen. Somebody else will rise. Now comes the warning..

Now Paul is talking about the Antichrist.
Read Revelation 13. Read in your own free time.. One thing you will notice..
He will be a human being that will be empowered by Satan:
Revelation 13:2 (Last part)”
The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.
He will be someone who will rule with authority, and on what scale will he rule?
3 One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled as they followed the beast.
7 Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation,
He will rule in a global scale.
One thing you will note, in verse 4, this man will oppose — what will he oppose? He will oppose the advancement of the Kingdom of God. The gospel is being preached as a testimony to all nations.
When will this happen?
Two important occurrences before the coming of the Lord.
There will be a one world government.
There will be severe opposition to the work of God.
Pastor Ramon, it seems these are two distant events, we do not see the signs of them, if they have to happen first before Jesus comes, Jesus must not be coming any time soon.
The acceleration of human history.
Put things in perspective, how many of you, this time last year even imagined the kind of world that we live in now?
In a matter of one month, this pandemic spread and in 3 months..
who ever imagined that the rioting that happened in June..
Human History is moving rapidly to set the stage for a One world government.
Right now, the coronavirus is being weaponized by the government to put restrictions on church gatherings. It is happening in CA.
Now for the One world government I am talking about, read Revelation 13.
16 Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, 17 so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18 This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.
How easy is it for a one world government to have such control?
Bill Gates in an interview talked about an immunity digital certificate
“Eventually we will have some digital certificates to show who has recovered or been tested recently or when we have a vaccine who has received it.” - Bill Gates
How will this be implemented?

Still think the coming of the Antichrist is still far away?
18 Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour.
3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.
Brace yourself. Pray and get busy.
One thing we should also notice as I close.
Paul said “concerning the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and being gathered together to Him.”
Paul juxtaposed or joined two events, Jesus’ coming and the gathering of the saints as a single happening.
28 Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
We should not be among the ones, who are fearful..
People are asking:
Is coronavirus the end of the world?
is God judging the world through the coronavirus?
Why does God allow evil in the world?
People theologize...
we need the right theological framework..
There is a natural evil. - God is not to be blamed, but He remains sovereign.
There is structural evil.
There is supernatural evil.
People put the blame on God for allowing this natural evil to occur. I stand here today to warn you that something worse is coming, It will be a combination of all these evils - culminating in the Great Tribulation. this natural evil of the coronavirus will be like a walk in the park compared to the evil that is to come.
There is also moral evil. The book of Romans says there is none righteous.
While I cannot tell you when the worst global evil will come, but I can tell you when the worst moral evil in human history happened and I will tell you who the victim was.
The worst moral evil was perpetuated when the son of God was rejected and murdered some 2000 years ago. God was the victim of the worst evil perpetuated by man.
God is still glorified.
How should we act then?
Repent! For the Kingdom of God is near! altar call.
Brace Ourselves.
Brace yourselves Not unto judgement but to the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
