how do we draw near?

1) sincere heart - no fakey - faithful

2) full assurance of faith - in Jesus as our priest and his sacrifice (11:6)

3) hearts sprinkled with he blood of Christ

4) bodies washed - baptism

v. 23 Let us - hold fast the the confession of our hope without wavering (4:14)

hold fast - synonym for faithfulness

wavering i am not sure I’m thinking about turning back (6:18)

he who promised is faithful

1)draw near - accept what god has done for you in jesus

v. 24 let us consider (continually/ all the time) one another

to stir up love and good works - excite others to do the same

not forsaking the assembly (cf. abandoning 13:5)

exhorting one another

v. 25 why should be in the assembly - or you will go to hell, NO NO NO.

encouraging - consider your brothers and sisters and don’t be selfish. they need your encouragement and you need their encouragement.

you don’t assemble regularly - you are being selfish

day drawing near??? maybe destruction of Jerusalem or the assembly
