Reminder On Prayer

Before we jump in to this method in particular I want to remind us of the definition we gave for prayer in our previous video.

Prayer is active communication with God

So if that is prayer, then what do we mean by praying your heart

The What

You might be able to guess what I mean by pray your heart

It’s just what you think it means

I mean when you pray, you need to actually communicate with God about what you are feeling and thinking

The Why

And while this may seem obvious and seem like something that people already do, I have just experienced whether with others, or myself personally that we don’t actually talk to the LORD about how we are really feeling

Often times I find with myself or others, that we go through a hard time or situation and when we go to pray, we will filter ourselves almost into what we think God wants to hear from us.
