Intro to Yud
The Yud is the atom bomb of the Hebrew letters. Most writings mentioned that every Hebrew letter starts with a Yud. Just by the pen touching the paper a dot is formed. That small dot is a Yud. Therefor every letter would be an extension from the Hebrew Letter Yud.
Yud is the 10th letter in the AlephBeyt with a numerical value of 10. It is spelled Yud (10) Vav (6) Dalet (4) יוד, a numerical value of 20... a double Yud.
You’ve often heard of the Big Bang... but in the context of God as creator, an explosion of the magnificence of YHVH and His creativity embedded in Yud sparked the birth of creation. It’s an extremely powerful letter, and if this one is embedded within each of the other Hebrew Letters... no wonder it has the nickname as the ‘All Spark’ of creation.
By now you are familiar with THE NAME OF YAHWEH יהוה. There is an arcing principle between the YUD and the VAV. A Spark in the breath of YHVH released into the breath of man. Just ponder on this. As every letter extends Yud, whenever you speak or engage a letter, the creation spark embedded in each one is released and embedded in the breath of man... YOU. That is tremendous power. It gives a fresh perspective as to the power of our words. Foolish words drain the creative power meant for kingdom release.
Romans 8:11 NIV
And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.
Relationship wise, Yud is connected to the word YADA ידע, meaning ‘to know  someone intimately’. It goes even further to be used to describe sexual intercourse. The genuine power of our Co creating in Christ lies intimately connected with our relationship and intimacy with Him. I want to pause here for a moment and encourage you with this: Think of the Yud, it is suspended in the air like a heart. How is your heart to heart with Jesus? It is when our hearts beat as one in sync with His, that we experience that explosion of love He has towards us. Maybe you’ve been feeling off pace, not worthy, confused or even lukewarm. The heart of the Yud, Yeshua, is calling you back into a place of intimacy where He’ll share the inner chamber secrets of His love towards you. It’s such an intense intimacy that will completely reshape who and what you are and melt you into His heart. There’s a frequency in that rhythm that, when we find resonance, will catapult you into an experiential love relationship that will continue to encounter the intense pulse and explosions of His affections towards you. He made you worthy. With the Yud suspended in the air, I think of this scripture:
Colossians 3:2 NIV
Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
The Yud reminds us to live in a suspended state...we live from above to the below... heaven is our reality. It is our vantage & starting point, which flows into our next point...
The first word in the Hebrew Bible that י appears is ‘Reshit’ ראשית. It means ‘Beginning’. How significant, that the Letter which every other Letter starts with, appears first in the word ‘beginning’. Therefore, Yud is so closely related to Yeshua….
Revelation 22:13 NIV
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
So here’s something powerful for you to consider... as Christ who is the beginning - the Yud, lives within you, everything now and in the future finds its starting point within you. Read that again. You, because of the all spark within you, are the initiating factor for creation to fulfil its purpose. If the sons of God stay silent creation loses momentum because you are the activation point. The Yud reminds us to step up to our responsibility as co creators in Christ and start ‘The Beginning’. It could be a book you are reading, a new job opportunity, a new project, tender…. the list can go on forever. If you don’t start, that creation power in the Yud, which is embedded within you cannot find a release point and therefore wants to implode instead of exploding the creation process. The Yud says take action. Abraham had to go to a land Yahweh was still going to show Him. The directions only followed after the action.
It is no coincidence that the names Israel, Jacob, Joshua, Joel, Jonah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah and Isaiah all start with the letter Yud. These were people of faith who constantly looked up to move forward. Yud is the google maps of the spirit realm. From a grammatical point, the Yud is used to prefix a word to denote its future tense. Therefor to me, the Yud is crucial in our prayer life, because it connects to that which lies in the future to be given birth (remember what we wrote about Tet ט) in the now. There's a creative process with the letters and when you learn to combine them, we create with our Creator. The Talmud teaches that God created the present world with Hey ה, and that which is to come with Yud י. It brings us back to the Hebrew word ‘AvraKadavra’, as I speak I create. As the blueprint of creation is embedded in Heyה, so the creation power of that blue print sits within Yud.
Other words that start with י:
Birth ילודה
Ability יכולת  Now just put those two words together - ABILITY TO GIVE BIRTH. It begs to be the slogan of Yudי.
Universe יקום
Formation יצירה
Day יום
Creator יוצר
Pretty incredible considering all these words have got to do with creation or the process.
The angel of י is YEMUEL ימואל or just angel of Yud. Yud means hand, the angelic name is derived from ‘right hand’.
