CAN OUR FAITH CARRY US WHERE GOD IS TAKING US!

Covid 19 is a new devil. When you are facing a new level you must face it with a new faith. God has given to us the measure of faith. But then you have to grow that faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

FAVOR DOES NOT MEAN THINGS WILL ALWAYS BE FAVORABLE. But favor is about learning how to respond in favor knowing that you are blessed and highly favored. ANOINTED PEOPLE GO THROUGH.

God has anointed us as his chosen vessels to win not just in some seasons but in every season. Jesus rose in all of life to give us victory in life and over life. That is why we are more than conquerors. Winning is not just what we do but who we are. If any man is in Christ he is a new creature. That just means we are already winners. Your trouble just doesn’t know it yet!

James wrote this letter to the Jewish Christians in his day who were going through similiar things as we are in our day. They were having a personal pandemic. We are having a global pandemic. And just because you are sanctified it doesn’t mean you won’t suffer. Just because you are anointed doesn’t mean you won’t have adversaries. Just because you have favor does not mean you wont have some falls.

MANY OF THEM MADE THE TRANSITION BECAUSE OF THE PROMISE OF THIS NEW ETERNAL LIFE. JESUS TOLD THE WOMAN AT THE WELL THAT I HAVE A WATER THAT YOU DON’T HAVE TO COME HERE AND DRINK. THAT BRINGS WITH IT EXCITEMENT. BUT SOME SEASONS ARE NOT ABOUT EXCITEMENT BUT DEVELOPMENT. BECAUSE DEVELOPMENT BRINGS NEW EXCITEMENT.

JAMES DOES NOT SAY THAT A BELIEVER SHOULD BE JOYOUS FOR THE TRIAL BUT IN THE TRIAL.

DON’T EVER GET SO HIGH AND SUCCESSFUL AND WONDERFUL THAT YOU THINK YOU CAN’T FALL. WE ARE ALL JUST ONE PHONE CALL, ONE DR VISIT, ONE ACCIDENT, ONE MISTAKE, ONE MOMENT AWAY. And the reason that you fall is not always that you are on the wrong track.

Job lost everything he had and his so called friends or frienemies say he must to have done something. You know how people talk.

WHAT YOU HAVE IN YOU DETERMINES HOW YOU CAN RESPOND TO WHAT’S AROUND YOU. You cannot afford to be in a season where you don’t have any Word in you. And this is not talking about personal bible study.

I believe today that falls are good for us! Sometimes blessings come disguised in our falls.

DESIGNED PLACEMENT

You are there for a reason. To fall does not mean it was necessarily by choice but sometimes by divine chance. God meant for you to be here. You are positioned for a placement. Because there is something in this bubble we are to get out of this bubble.

That’s what James is saying when he says COUNT IT ALL JOY WHEN YOU FALL into divers temptations. He is saying MAKE IT COUNT! In other words rather than wasting this time being negative and pessimistic, take advantage of it and get out of it what is designed for me to get out.

Every thing Israel had been through they got something out of it. 450 years in Egypt but they got something out of it. Went through the Red Sea. 40 years in the wilderness but they got something out of it.

MAKE IT COUNT! IF YOU GOING TO GO THROUGH IT THEN MAKE IT COUNT. GET OUT OF IT WHAT GOD PUT IN IT. RATHER THAN PURSUING THE PATH OF GETTING OUT OF IT MAYBE PURSUE GETTING OUT OF IT IN THE EXPERIENCE.

TEMPTATIONS DON’T COME AT YOUR STRONGEST BUT WEAKEST MOMENTS. When we are at the limit of our patience, limit of our love, limit of our peace, limit of our faith, that’s when the enemy will come. Jesus after 40 days in the wilderness the bible says afterward he was hungry. You have to be careful when you have a desire or a need that is when the enemy will come.

MIKE TYSON SAYS EVERYBODY HAS A PLAN UNTIL THEY GET HIT IN THE MOUTH. The covid test is how will we respond. In the bubble you don’t respond the same way. It hurt you and bothered you but it did not break you!

WHEN YOU ARE IN A BUBBLE YOU HAVE TO WATCH OUT FOR THREE TESTS. ITS NOT THE TEST YOUR TAKE BUT YOU TAKE AND PASS.

DISAPPOINTMENT TEST. LEARN HOW TO QUARANTINE YOUR PAIN. Don’t make people suffer for your disappointment. Saul chased David because David chose to be happy. You are hurting inside but you don’t look like what you going through. that is why I wish I could teach every person with a jealous spirit. The person you jealous of doesn’t know why they blessed either.

DISTRACTION TEST. Every door that opens isn’t our door. That is why we need to pray for wisdom. This wisdom is discernment. When you are able to discern what isn’t a door you are able to recognize what is. The devil loves to send distractions. Choose your battles wisely, its a distraction. When Nehemiah was building the walls some distractions came once the building was being built. FOCUSED BOX, AND FORWARD BUTTON.

DETOUR TEST. ILLUSTRATION OF “OVER DER” GOD TAKES US ON DETOURS WHEN HE WANTS TO SHOW US NEW WONDERS OF HIS GRACE. Set a new goal. God has a way of allowing one door to close so that he can open another door. When God opens doors we tend to trust the door rather than the God that opened the door. Your blessing is not going to come the way you think!!!

POINTS FOR OBSERVATION

GOD IS ABOUT TO PRODUCE A BETTER VERSION OF YOU. WORST MISTAKE YOU CAN MAKE IS COMPARING YOUR LIFE WITH OTHERS. JAMES SAYS the engrafted Word is able to save your soul. Coming to church does not mean you are saved. You need the Word in your soul before it can begin to transform you and reshape your values and beliefs. if any man is in Christ. When your spirit is strong your mind is focused. 2 cor 5:17

YOU CAN ONLY CONTROL WHATS INSIDE YOUR BUBBLE. We can’t always change things outside of the bubble. You will keep yourself upset and anxious trying to control the uncontrollable. You can’t control what life brings, what people think or say or the choices they make. You can’t control if they like you or not. But you can control the value you attach to those things. SERENITY PRAYER: LORD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CANNOT CHANGE, THE COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN, AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.

STOP TRYING TO MANIPULATE YOUR OUTCOME. God wants us to learn to trust his timing and provision instead of manipulating the outcome to fit our present state of immaturity - potential. DON’T PRAY FOR STRUGGLES EQUAL TO YOUR STRENGTH BUT PRAY FOR STRENGTH EQUAL TO YOUR STRUGGLES. If you can manipulate the outcome it is not from God. “Every good gift comes from above”. Anybody got some blessings you didn’t even look for. I never will forget I use to own a 95 Chevy Blazer.

MATURITY WILL ATTRACT ADVERSITY. To whom much is given much is required. When you are mature there is a cost. Jesus tells about parable about 5 talents, 2 talents, and one talent. The more you are give the more is expected out of you. GOD WILL HOLD YOU TO A HIGHER STANDARD. That’s why you have to reach out, you have apologize, you have to forgive, you have to reach across the aisle. SOME PEOPLE WANT TO BE BIG BUT GOT SMALL CHOKING THEM!

LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES SO YOU WON’T LIVE IN YOUR MISTAKES. LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES SO THAT YOU WONT LIVE IN THEM.. Sometimes we need mistakes and mistakes are not always bed when we learned from them. Because there are some things that we don't learn but through trial-and-error which we call mistakes

REMEMBER WHAT GOD HAS DONE. God is undefeated. He has never lost a battle. There is never a time he didn’t come through. The Israelites were headed toward the Promised Land, but they were up against nations with huge armies that were stronger and more skilled in warfare. The Israelites had just come out of slavery and were just trying to survive in the desert. They were very discouraged when Moses spoke these words to them: “Don’t be afraid. Just remember what God did to Pharaoh.”

PRAISE ON THE INSIDE. WHEN YOU HAVE A PRAISE ON THE INSIDE WHEN THE THIEF COMES IN TO TRY TO BIND YOUR STRONG MAN HE CANNOT BECAUSE YOUR PRAISE IS GOD’S STRENGTH IN YOUR STRENGTH.

The blessing is in the bubble. It is in the dont know. That's where God is in the middle. David in Psalms 23 starts out green pastures and still waters ut it wasnt until he reached the middle that he found God.

God is in the middle of vulnerability, middle of questions, weaknesses, tears, doubts, uncertainty, unfamiliarity.

If you are in the bubble that's where God is. My strength is made perfect in your weakness.
