Goal: every day, set your mind FIRST THING!
instead of showering your body, shower your mind with the Word!
The most powerful 20 minutes of your day. Absolutely essential.
Romans 8:5–8 NKJV
5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Every morning, you are in the flesh.
THEREFORE, your goal is singular: GET IN THE SPIRIT!
being in the Spirit is an intentional act. It requires *walking* it requires *setting.* when you first wake up, you’re not walking or setting. What you do first thing *determines* you walk and set.
You might not have time for your full time with God in the morning,
but you *at least* have to have a morning mind set!
Step 1: Repentance
get in the light!
1 John 1:6 NKJV
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
Step 2: Tongues & Worship
1 Corinthians 14:14 NKJV
14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful.
1 Corinthians 14:4 NKJV
4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.
Jude 20–21 NKJV
20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Step 3: Receive a Revelation
Matthew 6:11 NKJV
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
1 Corinthians 2:7–13 NKJV
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. 13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
1 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV
14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
How to get a revelation:
1) God’s wisdom is hidden. and it’s *meant* to be hidden.
Only the Holy Spirit can unlock it.
2) It’s hidden in His Word
3) Your carnal mind cannot receive it.
4) Meditation is key.
20 minutes before you do anything else.
What if you don’t do this?
Who can do this?
Who will do it?
