Intro:  It’s Spring Time.  It’s time for planting.

A.    We Are Hard Hearted.

2)      In Our Uncommitted Excitement.

IV. The Good Soil.

A.    Is Made Out of Bad Soil.

Conclusion:  God continues to create good soil in your hearts.

Parable of Salt and Light.

Intro:  Why would Jesus call us Salt.

I.       The Nature of Salt.

A.    Created by God.

B.     Is a Preservative.

C.     Has Healing and Cleansing powers.

II.    Tasteless Salt.

A.    By Dilution.

B.     By Lack of Use.

III. How’s Your Salt?

A.    Christ has made you Salty at the Cross.

B.     Evidence of Saltiness.

Conclusion:  The Church is like a giant Salt Shaker.  God is pouring you, the salt, upon the world.
