Old Testament Outlines

Numbers 21:4-9  (three outlines)

God chastises the people He loves.

I.  So they will recognize their sin.

II.   So they will remember his grace.

Death is over-come by God’s grace.

I.      Our rebellion results in death.

II.   Gods grace results in life.

In spite of our unfaithfulness, God is still graceful.

I.      We are unfaithful and ungrateful.

II.   God is faithfully graceful.

Genesis 3:1-15

Hiding because of our sin, our God seeks us out.

I.      Sinners hide from God.

II.   God seeks out sinners.

Exodus 15: 1-13

These things will I sing to the Lord.

I.      He is my salvation.

II.   He is my refuge.

III. He is my unfailing guide.

Exodus 34:1-10  (two outlines)

The Lord proclaims.

I.      He proclaims our guilt.

II.   He proclaims his grace.

God’s word is Law,  God’s Word is grace.

I.      His word condemns us.

II.   His Word saves us.
