                                    THE SACRIFICE OF ME: Romans 12:1-12

The book of Romans primarily deals with God righteousness, his grace and his mercy.

Romans talks about our sinfulness – that everyon has sineed and come short of the glory of God.

But it also talks about our Justification- That because of Christ we have complete freedom from the bondage of sin by faith alone in Christ.

Sanctification- That through Christ believers are glorified and set apart for the service o God

Reconciliation- That the sacrifice of Jesus Christ renews our relationship between God and man

Romans does something else and that it shows us the character of God.

You God is

Accessible – 5:2 – Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through whom also we ave access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the Glory of God

Eternal – 1:20

Forgiving- 3:25

Glorious-  3:23 for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God

Good -2:4

Incorruptible – 1:23

Just- 2:11

Longsuffering – 2:4, 3:25

Loving – 5:8 – God demonstrates his love that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Merciful -  9:15,18

Powerful-1:16 – for I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes

Promise Keeper – 1:1,2

Provident – 8:28 – And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God to those who are the called according to his purpose.

Reconciling – 5:1,10

Righteous 2:5

Unsearchable – 11:33

Wise -11:33

Wrathful; 2:5
