Introduction
God is still working even when people are sinful.
A Remnant is God’s graceful response to a people in need.
Ezra
points
to
Jeremiah
.
Jeremiah sent to call people back to the Lord.
Jer. 3:12
Babylon has surrounded Jerusalem and cut off all supplies.
Jer. 52

And so the
People
were
Carried
into
Exile
.
Sin isolates people.
Sin brings Separation.
Sin
always has a
Consequence
.
It cuts us off from spiritual nourishment.
Our
Sin
and our
Consequence
doesn’t only
Affect
us!!
It can be your sin or someone else s.
Exile
is the end of
Jeremiah
, but it’s NOT the
End
of the
Story
.
God remains faithful.
Jer. 52

Conclusion
What if I return only to fail again?
What if I rebuild only to lose it again?
God is calling you.
It is about God’s faithfulness.
God’s people (a remnant)
went
to rebuild the house of the Lord.
