Isaiah 29:1–8 KJV 1900
Woe to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David dwelt! Add ye year to year; let them kill sacrifices. Yet I will distress Ariel, And there shall be heaviness and sorrow: And it shall be unto me as Ariel. And I will camp against thee round about, And will lay siege against thee with a mount, And I will raise forts against thee. And thou shalt be brought down, and shalt speak out of the ground, And thy speech shall be low out of the dust, And thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground, And thy speech shall whisper out of the dust. Moreover the multitude of thy strangers shall be like small dust, And the multitude of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passeth away: Yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly. Thou shalt be visited of the Lord of hosts With thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, With storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire. And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, Even all that fight against her and her munition, and that distress her, Shall be as a dream of a night vision. It shall even be as when an hungry man dreameth, and, behold, he eateth; But he awaketh, and his soul is empty: Or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and, behold, he drinketh; But he awaketh, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite: So shall the multitude of all the nations be, That fight against mount Zion.
Dreams That Never Come True
INTRODUCTION:
The Lord said to Isaiah "Tell my people that there will be nations in the end time that will seek to destroy the promised land; but they will not be able to do it."
They will be like a hungry man that dreams, etc.
Let me mention five things that people think will come to pass, but they never will.
These are dreams that never will come true.
NO SEPARATION WITH PERSECUTION
The Bible demands separation.
Romans 12:1–2 KJV 1900
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
2 Corinthians 6:14 KJV 1900
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Revelation 18:4 KJV 1900
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, That ye be not partakers of her sins, And that ye receive not of her plagues.
There is no such thing as Bible separation without persecution. On your job, in your family, in your church. Illust. of difference between positive and negative. Illust. of feeling of people when Trollingwood was organized. Didn't want it.
NO REVIVAL WITHOUT SACRIFICE
2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV 1900
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

NO SOUL WINNING WITHOUT COMPASSION
In this church, people talk during the invitation; walk in and out; play with babies. Jesus was moved with compassion.
Matthew 9:36 KJV 1900
But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
Now is the time to weep.
Psalm 126:5–6 KJV 1900
They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
Paul said, "Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved."
NO DISCIPLESHIP WITHOUT DISCIPLINE
Luke 9:57–62 KJV 1900
And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
NO SALVATION WITHOUT REPENTANCE
Acts 20:21 KJV 1900
Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
