When you hear the call? What’s Next?
When you hear the call? What’s Next?
When we go through life from ch ildren to teens and into manhood what is the one thing that we can truly say about life, no matter who is there? That we are never fully ready for what life brings our way, or are we really. The most beautiful thing about God is that He has a way of life’s orchestration making absolutely no sense at all to us, yet in the end all we have a gratitude to Him for what we have become at the end. For some of us we are still figuring it out and that is ok you are amongst some extraordinary stories in this room and all of our stories are still being written.
What else comes to your mind concerning life’s journey? It really shows you how much of your life you think you have control of that you really don’t. It is easy to say that you do, but in the end those of us who are wise will come to the realization that God permits all of what we go through in life, and some how what we never knew, He knew all along. Here is the thing what we don’t expect or see coming God does.

The Understanding of a Journey
(Chapter 12)
When Abraham left home there had to be something very distinct about this moment that sits out to us all? Have you ever gotten tired of life as usual, where you just get up, do what you do, come home, go to sleep, just to repeat? I believe that this was a part of the driving force of God being able to use Abraham to make such a monumental push to creating a culture that never existed. When this happens we have now reached a place in God called,” Ready.”
God always needs to see that we are at the point of READY before He does what is needed in our life. Ready is a heart posture, it is not vocal, it is a component I believe in which one receives Christ for the first time, receives healing, deliverance, a miracle, direction out of a situation, in short it is Godly-visible.
Ready can also look like failure, overcoming, near death experiences, loss of a resource that you use to go to (you know those go-to’s that regardless if anything happens you can always turn to them). Abraham was not broke he was a son a business owner that was well off. There are times when our Ready looks like incomplete, you see Adam felt incomplete because he didn’t have any children and was already way past his prime, he was a tender 75 years-old. I don’t know about you, but have you ever tried to do something that you know your are way out of your scope of abilities? That had to be how Abraham felt when God told him that he and his wife would have more children than they could count.
In the very beginning of the text God gives Abram instructions, and then he gave Him the benefits of following the instructions, then because he obeys the instructions came a reward for following through.
What is the First Point of this Message? It is never too late for God to show us that we’re ready. Time belongs to Him, not us.
What are the things that hold us up from moving forward?
What are the things that hold us up from moving forward?
I don’t know about you but for me many of the hardships that I have had to encounter have been because of some thing that I have both inherited and intentionally done.
What do they look like? Give some examples.
