False Self v. True Self

Greetings, we spent a recording yesterday of a presentation that we conducted yesterday morning only to find out. That for some reason it did not record. I promise you it is not my equipment but the program that we've been using and hopefully we will quickly find out what's happening with the recording and Wyatt times. It just doesn't record in any of that we're going to try to do again what we did yesterday morning. I buy talking about enduring the short-term struggle between the former self our fall self and the new self are true. We're going to base this discussion around 2nd Corinthians. 5 verse 17 which says as follows therefore If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature old things are passed away behold. All things are become new. Please start this off. I want to share with you a recent struggle that we have which turns out is short-term in nature and has some long-term benefits because of how we've been able to utilize those critical factors that we've been talking about faith truth courage accountability and self-discipline, utilizing those critical factors for our benefit helping to Focus on the true self and knowledge in the fact that the false self exists but notwithstanding that making a concerted effort to stand instead on that true nature. So I'm going to turn this over at this time to Apostle Anthony Bennett so that he can in more detail share with you our short-term struggle.

yes on Couple of weeks ago we had a challenge and as you know, we've been discussing the laws of God our faith and our feelings and we gave an example of a locomotive the locomotive being the law of God. Which is a vehicle bad is destined for purpose. And also the coal cart which fuels the locomotive. And the Caboose that just travels along side of and basically that representing our feelings and we informed you that the locomotive in a Cell though. It is the power source though. It is the vehicle or destiny is that has to be fuel fueling is your faith. So when you take God's vehicle a destiny, which is his word and you couple it with your face, which is representative of the coal cart, you fueling the locomotive that you can reach your destination apart from your feelings. Your feelings are irrelevant and immaterial. They're only important to you, but they become a vehicle for the roller coaster ride. Is that so we admonish you to Anchor everything that you do with the law of God and Infuse that with your face and you will reach your destiny or your purpose and so as a result of that we were challenged to live that out. And that challenge came as a result of me feeling pressure on my chest a number of different things transpired which ultimately led me to emergency of the which I ended up being there 5 days and then I was allowed to come home to recuperate and to rebuild and so it was just a challenge as to whether or not we're going to hold you and to oppose. Declaration that the law of God is solid is firm. No it's concrete is that so or where we going to be moved emotionally by our feelings and we took the other path and that was we subscribed to God's word being a stabilizing Force because we recognized that it was just going to be a question of endurance in during this short jumps troubled soul. Dad will have long-term reward and that it was doing nothing more than allowing us enabling us to see exactly where we were where we just confessing something or did we make a determination that we were going to be in a position to possessive and we chose the latter to possess what God's word says and to endure despite the struggle and Knowing that it would only refined the true self and expose the false self what it is and as a result of that just like with Paul saying to the Corinthian Church is that we are a new creation and sad that we had embarked Upon A New Creation process. And we were going to see it until the end. So I want to break that down a little bit and at the same time bring Focus to the existing question, which is what am I hoping to realize in the process this process of becoming this true person are realizing the true person that you already are because it's within it should be within once you've confessed Jesus Christ as your lord and savior and allowed the Holy Spirit to dwell in but it still has to be realize just like you said realized the truth of God's word realize who you are with respect to that truth. And at the same time recognized and exposed what you happened basing your prior treats on or what you believe to be your prior truth. So that's the process in a nutshell realizing who you really are recognizing. How do you used to mask yourself before that realization and then making the deter The nation that this is who this is how you're going to live the rest of your life out in this truth based on the word of God and we did have an opportunity to recognize that in the choice that it come to us. All right. I'll start off by.

Talking about the call I received from you. I was at work and received a call about the results of your doctor's visit in the Urgent Care. There were tests that were run EKGs that was run because of the pain that you have felt or the pressure you felt in your chest and as a result of that you were told by the urgent care doctor that you wear.

What channel's I want you to tell the story in your words because it's your experience at least as it relates to receiving that initial news. Now when you receive that initial news, and you repeated it to me, I can only talk about how I responded to it. But before I talk about how I responded to a do you want to share with your initial response was asked again? She then proceeded to explain what his perception was and about what his findings were and give me any kind of a history lesson from where the idea came from but no at the end of the day is that I had already made a determination that you know, whatever was happening that it was Temple. Is that because God wasn't finished with me yet, and I'm certainly not finished with you. Is that so even though the news on that? I was giving you no kind of set me back on my heels. It calls me to dig deep to dig in deep and to get ready for the struggle of here and that is going to invoke some responses and initial responses are based on are you mad so it's Panic it's fear. It's immediately and until you have that opportunity to begin to have that second thought. You know where you're able to talk to yourself and reject what those initial feelings were at least that's what it was for me because when you repeat it what you were told about what this doctor had to say to you. My immediate response was fear. I have to be honest with that. It was astounding to me to hear that. I wasn't expecting that and immediately. I began Gathering my things and that second thought came in which was to reject what you said and you formulate a plan. I believe if I recall correctly. You said that the urgent care doctor told you to go directly to emergency. For admission into the hospital for his gave you the test results that he had taken and explain to you and he impressed upon you the sense of urgency that there should be no delay that you should get to ER right away. Rather than running tonic with that we decided to meet. We wanted to consult with someone that you knew a colleague of yours or whose wife was a head nurse at a hospital go over those tests phone and then it further advice or second opinion if you will as to what course of action we should take once we heard from her that turned out to be a good decision. She was able to subdue some of the initial Fairfield reaction and replace it with a better understanding of why the doctor in Urgent Care felt the need to Put this urgency on you right away with one. There was an issue it look like from the test results the issue was with your art. And two because of that immediate attention needed to be required to address that concern. We were then able to ask, you know, what hospital would be the best hospital to meet this need and . I believe was based on the confession that you make regarding yourself God's not finished with me yet. And I'm not finish we got so I need to do what's necessary to preserve my life my being until we are done one another which is it today. So we based on what you told yourself and something I definitely was an agreement with we strategize and we formulated this plan based on the advice that we were given and we went to the hospital that was recommended. Shout out to Providence. Holy Cross It In Deed is a great hospital. That was great advice that was given to us because they were able to find and I'll let you tell the rest of your story blood clots in my lungs. So they dealt with that and also to gain control over the diabetes and there was no blood clots in my legs. And so they begin to treat each element. Baseball what they got from the test results and also with further examination they were able to discover other elements that they begin treat and so things begin to progressively move because again is that it's all a part of the process but you know, the Bible says that faith is the substance of things hoped for evidence of Things Not Seen. So the question then comes or what am I hoping for? What am I hoping to realize through this whole process and as a result of that I was able to keep me into certain things because both Parts of the community of self where they are wide open the false self that wanted to be treated by fear by a revelatory true by a lack of courage and accountability and by lack of self-discipline, where is on the opposite end of that is that there was Faith true courage accountability and self-discipline. So the inside my community of self there was activity that was a ward that was waged and because of my position that the law of God is unchanging it is the only empirical truth that is in the world. And so the law God became the primary element. What does God's word say concerning me and she says with long life and that you are going to live and you're not going to die and that God has called me so that I can preach Good Tidings to the poor and declare the acceptable year of the Lord. So I knew that my work was not done so as result of that and then Deal with those factors that was there that would Propel me in the right direction the ongoing that direction and that was me basing disposing and dismissing fear. Re-evaluating the truth not what I was told but what God has said concerning.

And regaining Church. And knowing that God could be trusted that he had done enough that I could find him worthy and I could begin to worship and then commit yourself this and that's what God and move in faith and against the fear move in the true self in against the false self. That is such a good point that you raised and what are the things that comes to my mind is when we look at these critical factors of Faith tree skirt accountability and self-discipline. Certainly, we had to exercise some self-discipline to over the initial reaction, which was to respond in panic and fear. The definitely took some self-discipline to restrain that nature and begin to confess God's words and what really has impressed me. I'm with all of that is what you said about accountability and you didn't use that exact word. What I'm doing from what you said is that not only are we required to be accountable to God to know what word to confess but we have the assurance that God is willing to be accountable to us in his work in his word to put him in remembrance of his word. And I take that to mean that God is Not

Offended if we say God you said God your word says. When I look at that word accountability was so powerful and profound to me even as we're talking right now is the fact that I can go to God knowing that God is not some insignificant being that doesn't that that has no power that can't reveal truth to me. But God is ask Creator one that is willing to be held accountable for the word that he has deposited in our lives. That's why he can tell us put me in remembrance. I'm willing to be accountable to that. That's why the word of God also says that whatever he sent his word out to do it will complete that task and it will not return to him void. How about that for accountability?

Is that in the management of that back inside because all that is stipulated to? is found in the data and God is seeing that I will hold my account and said I can guarantee my account that has put together all data that you have on me. I am willing to be held to a level of trust. So that you have the assurances when those times of opposition which are part of the process those times and struggle which are part of the process is that Windows X come you have something that you can rally to that you can stand on that you can use as a platform and whatever I sent my word. It will not come back to me void on the couch and I hasten to perform it. That's the epitome of accountability God is telling you that I'm going to bring it about and then gives us all types of assurances that heaven and earth will pass away before one jot or tittle is taken from his work. He lets us know that the very Foundation of our world and the world to come Are the worlds Beyond they're all hands on what he says. So that's the epitome of accountability God saying it's impossible. It's outright impossible for you not to be the beneficiary if you will align yourself with me and if you will stand on my law and that Milo be the locomotive that brings you to Justin and all I need is you to exert Yourself by applying your faith in fueling that locomotives is that in despite whether or not emotions are attached and you know in a caboose that's a place where people converge where they communicate where they gather it's a place a more of a gathering and that's what happens with your emotions. Is that you here Stop steal stuff see stuff and it affection is that in you got to know that beyond your emotions beyond the first initial away that there's a wave coming behind it. That's going to settle that phone away. You just have to wait. You just have to be assured that God will not can lie in that. He says it then you can Bank on it a mentifact. Jesus said in Matthew 24 35 Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. the word of God shall remain but I think that is just so such a significant nugget of Revelation that I'm blessed with right now and knowing that God is willing to be held accountable. to his word because his word is that powerful and that's where we miss it because we don't know his word if you understood how powerful God's word was the ability to be able to come over your life knowing that there is a creator that is willing to be held accountable to the very words you speak so long as the words that you speak are the words that He created this regarding yes, he sent for his word. He says when he looked in there was nobody else that was out of it is that he decided to bring Salvation with his own does that so when you look at it? He said his dad by his word is that the rules of frame and that by his word that he created all that is an existence and by the word the things that are invisible to the pier is that as visible and by his word that it became are the manifestation Dodge in flesh form is that so everything is by his word and when we subscribe to that when we build our faith And we recognize that as the absolute empirical truth concrete no way to get around it and as we step out and become interest and then express our coach when we become like God accountable if there is enough data I've been walking with you for 40-something years is that there's enough data. I never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread is enough data out. There is that bad you have not left me. You haven't abandoned you will never betray my trust is that you are worthy. I found that you have worth. Therefore. I worship you and I free atmosphere. And so as I trust you and I discipline myself. So when the community becomes infused with something other than the word when I utilize the word of God to fragrance in to infuse my community so that fear then it's thrown out. Out is through worry is thrown off confusion is thrown out and everything that Satan represents. I established will not have any dominion over it and you speak directly to Every Mountain of satanic adversity that is trying to infuse your life and you command an adult and you declare they met in the name that is above every name and at that name every knee shall bow, which is the name of Jesus the Christ. The Living God is that when you take that posture you'll see those elements in your community evaporate and you'll see the false self take its place and the true self rise to that Pinnacle and God how were you have that moment of worship and adoration that moment where you're in his presence that moment that you're able to see his presence feel his presence presence speak in his presence. Is that which is the most Exotic and the most orgasmic experience you can possibly have in life. A man a man. John wanted one says in the beginning was the word and the Word was with God and the Word was God hallelujah again. We talked about this but we did not get in as much depth as we did right now. And I knew that and we said that once we do this again, it's not going to be the same but we had a good time yesterday, but I have to say that I am so excited right now and just want to worship God because of the Revelation it would seem like the holy spirit that you didn't do enough in that issue of accountability how necessary it is for us to obey God's word. But we missed it has to be accountable to his words. In fact, when he created the Covenant during create talked about what it meant to say.

it was a word that he gave to man, but not Buy anything other than himself, it was a covenant. He entered into by himself concerning us. That's why John 11 can say in the beginning was the word. And the Word was with God and without him was not anything made that was made. It was made by the word. We are word people we serve a word God and the world is framed by the word of God. So we speak. That which is not as though it were and we allow the manifestation of God's word should be there because we're not on God's word is on trial than the last I checked in over 40 years of serving him. He's a big boy, he can handle himself as always been able to and all he's looking for is an opportunity so he could show up so he can show up. So we're going to close this by reminding you. with a question same question we started with what are you hoping to realize in the process? And that is that you are a new creation.

And is a new creation process. What do you expect to realize? And remember that the outcome of your decision to live your true self. Is always predicated upon yours Faith because it fuels a locomotive of God which provides for you your moment and Destiny and purpose. So live out your faith stand in your truth. The unwavering in your church. And know that you are countable to him and he's accountable to you and self-discipline. Amen, and as we meditate on this Market that has just been giving us through the Holy Spirit. I want to encourage you all stand on his word confessed his word live by his word and then enjoy the benefit of his word until we meet again.
