Remember that Luke is writing to encourage confidence in the gospel among disciples of Jesus. A big lesson for disciples to learn is not to base our confidence in our own ideas of evangelistic success. Strive to enter through the narrow door, because many will try find they can't enter, beause they don't know Jesus.
