I expected this to be a story about a woman keeping faith, but it was about a woman gaining faith. Not only that, the purpose of faith, and its power. There’s also a message about relating to people and meeting them where they are that is somewhat hidden in the story and I hope you don’t miss it. Jesus does not mind smartness or attitude. He doesn’t care about your age, sex, or any proclivities you may have. He just wants you to have faith in Him, so that your sins may be forgiven.
