The Holy Spirit gives us the power to witness!

The power we have received when we got filled with the Holy Spirit gives us the power to be an effective witness for Jesus. This is what Jesus told them the Holy Spirit would do and that is what He did on the Day of Pentecost. the disciples who were basically quiet went out of the upper room and 3000 we added to the church that dat after Peter, who was afraid the night Jesus was betrayed, preached in public.
1 Thessalonians 1:5 (NLT)
For when we brought you the Good News, it was not only with words but also with power, for the Holy Spirit gave you full assurance that what we said was true. And you know of our concern for you from the way we lived when we were with you.
1 Peter 1:12 NLT
12 They were told that their messages were not for themselves, but for you. And now this Good News has been announced to you by those who preached in the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. It is all so wonderful that even the angels are eagerly watching these things happen.

The Holy Spirit gives life!

Matthew 1:18 (NLT)
18This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Luke 1:35 (NLT)
35The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God.
2 Peter 1:3 NLT
3 By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.
The Holy Spirit is life giving. He gave life to Jesus when He came upon Mary and caused her to become pregnant. And today, He gives us everything we need to live godly!

The Holy Spirit gives us revelation!

Mark 12:36 NLT
36 For David himself, speaking under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, said, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies beneath your feet.’
Mark 13:11 (NLT)
11But when you are arrested and stand trial, don’t worry in advance about what to say. Just say what God tells you at that time, for it is not you who will be speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
Luke 1:67–80 NLT
67 Then his father, Zechariah, was filled with the Holy Spirit and gave this prophecy: 68 “Praise the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has visited and redeemed his people. 69 He has sent us a mighty Savior from the royal line of his servant David, 70 just as he promised through his holy prophets long ago. 71 Now we will be saved from our enemies and from all who hate us. 72 He has been merciful to our ancestors by remembering his sacred covenant— 73 the covenant he swore with an oath to our ancestor Abraham. 74 We have been rescued from our enemies so we can serve God without fear, 75 in holiness and righteousness for as long as we live. 76 “And you, my little son, will be called the prophet of the Most High, because you will prepare the way for the Lord. 77 You will tell his people how to find salvation through forgiveness of their sins. 78 Because of God’s tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, 79 to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace.” 80 John grew up and became strong in spirit. And he lived in the wilderness until he began his public ministry to Israel.
The Holy Spirit gives us words to speak beyond our human capabilities. There’s no way we can figure out with our own human intellect what to say and when to say it. Only the Holy Spirit can give us that supernatural all knowing knowledge for just the right time.

The Holy Spirit is our teacher!

Luke 12:11–12 NLT
11 “And when you are brought to trial in the synagogues and before rulers and authorities, don’t worry about how to defend yourself or what to say, 12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what needs to be said.”
John 14:26 NLT
26 But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.
1 John 2:27 NLT
27 But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ.
The Holy Spirit is our teacher. He teaches us what we need to know about Jesus. In fact, He brings everything back to remembrance about Jesus. He also confirms if something is true or not.
