This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’
And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.
“This, then, is how you should pray: “ ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’

Prayer, is that vehicle, through the accomplished work of the cross, transports us through the supernatural realms of the Kingdom of God, to engage and activate that which transcends the physical boundaries, and make the impossible possible.

God promised Abraham that we will posses the gates of our enemy…so we will take the territory
