in Light of Post Covid World you may be asking yourself your friends your neighbors or even me Does God know when every person is going to die, or is it all left up to chance? If He does know, does that mean it can't be changed, even with the best medical help?
1 “Man who is born of woman Is of few days and full of trouble. 2 He comes forth like a flower and fades away; He flees like a shadow and does not continue. 3 And do You open Your eyes on such a one, And bring me to judgment with Yourself? 4 Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? No one! 5 Since his days are determined, The number of his months is with You; You have appointed his limits, so that he cannot pass. 6 Look away from him that he may rest, Till like a hired man he finishes his day. 7 “For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that its tender shoots will not cease. 8 Though its root may grow old in the earth, And its stump may die in the ground, 9 Yet at the scent of water it will bud And bring forth branches like a plant. 10 But man dies and is laid away; Indeed he breathes his last And where is he? 11 As water disappears from the sea, And a river becomes parched and dries up, 12 So man lies down and does not rise. Till the heavens are no more, They will not awake Nor be roused from their sleep. 13 “Oh, that You would hide me in the grave, That You would conceal me until Your wrath is past, That You would appoint me a set time, and remember me! 14 If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait, Till my change comes. 15 You shall call, and I will answer You; You shall desire the work of Your hands. 16 For now You number my steps, But do not watch over my sin. 17 My transgression is sealed up in a bag, And You cover my iniquity. 18 “But as a mountain falls and crumbles away, And as a rock is moved from its place; 19 As water wears away stones, And as torrents wash away the soil of the earth; So You destroy the hope of man. 20 You prevail forever against him, and he passes on; You change his countenance and send him away. 21 His sons come to honor, and he does not know it; They are brought low, and he does not perceive it. 22 But his flesh will be in pain over it, And his soul will mourn over it.”
When we will die is not a matter of accident or chance; the Bible makes it clear that our lives are in God’s hands. He knows the time of our death, and He has even appointed it. The Bible says, “Man’s days are determined; you (God) have decreed the number of his months and have set limits he cannot exceed” (Job 14:5).
Does this mean we shouldn’t seek medical care when we are sick, or that it doesn’t matter if we do dangerous things because God will deliver us anyway? No, not at all; not one verse of Scripture would support such a view. Satan urged Jesus to cast Himself down from the top of the Temple and trust God to deliver Him—but Jesus refused to do such a foolhardy thing. He told Satan
7 Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’ ”
Your question is actually a complex one; there is much about death we do not know, for God hasn’t chosen to answer all our questions about it. But we do know this: Someday we will all die—and the real question is, are we prepared for that day? We can be, by giving our lives to Christ and trusting Him to forgive and save us. Have you made your personal commitment to Him? Have you surrendered your life to Him do you know Him, More importantly does he know you?
When we know Christ, then we can say with the psalmist,
“My times are in your hands” (Psalm 31:15).
Jesus came to give us life—life right now, and life in the world to come. Make sure of your commitment to Christ today.
1. To be in Christ is to be free from Sin
Who I Am In Christ
Who I Am In Christ
In the midst of many voices in our head that wage war against our identity we forget who we are in Christ. I need to remind myself daily that my identity does not lie in my mistakes, my struggles, my embarrassing moments, those discouraging negative voices in my head, etc.
Satan is constantly fighting believers to cause us to lose sight of our true identity. God is constantly pouring out His grace and reminding us of we are. He is constantly reminding me to not dwell on my failures, receive His grace, and press on.
When those voices tell you that you are misunderstood by everyone, God reminds you that He understands you. When we feel unloved, we are reminded that God loves us deeply and unconditionally. When we are engulfed in shame, God reminds us that Christ took upon our shame on the cross. You are not defined by who the world says that you are. You are defined by who Christ says that you are. In Him is where your true identity lies.
“Outside of Christ, I am weak; Inside of Christ I am strong.”
10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Outside of Christ I am Dead, Dead to my own sin dead to my own misery dead to a eternity in Hell, But in Christ i live i live here in His Joy in His glory I will gain external life when this mere shell fade away
1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,
46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
For when i am outside of Christ everlasting punishment in hell awaits my soul in the back of my mind it presses on me causes me distress discomfort I am without joy
But in christ I pass from such damnation from such a death into Life into eternal life in Glory with my Father in heaven with a new perfect body a glorified body
In Christ i become a heir to Gods kingdom as His beloved Child
7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
outside of christ I am a mere slave slave to my own sin my own torment
in Christ i am Loved Loved beyond all measure
20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I AM STRONG IN CHRIST
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
In Christ I am Redeemed by Him For Him Because He Loved Me.
13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),
Because i am in Christ i have been set Free
7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
2. what is it To be out side of Christ
To be outside of Christ is to be Dead Spiritually
This is why so many fear death because this is as good as it gets, this world is all they have to look forward to even the unbelieving atheist knows within his consensus that there will be judgement he just doesn't want to admit it to himself
1 Corinthians 1:18
1 Corinthians 1:18
18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.
8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
As We read earlier in Matt it is eternal everlasting punishment
46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,
45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, 46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it. 47 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, 48 which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away. 49 So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, 50 and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”
1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber. 4 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; 5 and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; 6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; 7 and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked 8 (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)—9 then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, 10 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, 11 whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord. 12 But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, 13 and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you, 14 having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children. 15 They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 16 but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking with a man’s voice restrained the madness of the prophet. 17 These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. 18 For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage. 20 For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. 21 For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. 22 But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”
So Here we have seen the two distinct differences of those in Christ and those outside of Christ i fear not death for i know I am in Christ am i perfect the Lord knows im not but my heart aches to be it mourns over each sin it seeks out God daily striving eagerly to be more like the one who gave all for me,
So Do I fear Death NoT a chance
Do I fear Covid you got to be kidding me Ive Got God to live is a gift of life to serve him to glorify His name to tell the world about his greatness and to Die is to gain Him for all eternity so im in a win win situation if you are in Christ you cannot loose for You have God you have Christ you have the Holy Ghost there is nothing to fear
21 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Now if you are outside of Christ you have everything to fear for you are Pershing right now and death awaits you as it does us all but what await you and what awaits me on the other side is completely different for where i gain His Glory you will suffer for eternal punishment
27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,
There is a 100% chance you are going to die aint none of us getting out of here alive. When that day comes what awaits you? what will that judgement be?
22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
