Now that I believe that the season is changing, that healing is for today & that miracles are a part of what my life should exude - How & where do I begin?

Make a Decision:

Decide to be a DOER of the Word of God
Make the Word of God & the Spirit of God be your Lord!
Do whatever the Word says- do in obedience & submission
Determine to become what the Word says you are created to be!
John 14:12 NKJV
12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
James 1:22–25 NKJV
22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
Matthew 7:24–27 NKJV
24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. 26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”
Determine in your heart that regardless of the immediate, short-term results, you are going to be a doer of the Word!!!
Following the example of Jesus Christ is always a great formula for Christian Success!

Here’s How Jesus Started His Healing & Miracle Ministry:

1. Jesus was about the Father’s business before He was even anointed for miracles

Luke 2:49 NKJV
49 And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”
Literally, the phrase, “about My Father’s Business” means “I must attend to the things that are my Father’s (of my Father’s house)”
Before Jesus ever prayed, “Nevertheless, not my will but thine be done - it was a lifestyle!”
Jesus’ was a lifestyle of exalting God’s plans priorities, & purposes above His own aspirations.
We will find our purpose and our greatest success in doing God’s will!
- We won’t have to seek our own personal success, God will look out to take care of that as we do His will.

2. Jesus was a student of the Word of God

Luke 2:46–47 NKJV
46 Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions. 47 And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers.
This is how He found out who He was (a child of God)- by reading the Old Testament!
2 Timothy 2:15 AMP
15 Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth.
The word of God instructs us & imparts faith for us to be obedient to its instructions. (Romans 10:17)
Knowing the Word = Knowing Jesus Himself
When we know what the Word of God says, we will begin to Hear & know His voice
John 10:4–5 NKJV
4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. 5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.”
Too many Christians are unfamiliar with God’s word, pray & don’t hear an answer right away, so they just do whatever they want - assuming that God is not going to answer them.
What if we get so stubborn to hear God’s voice that we don’t do anything UNTIL we hear Him?
After all, what’s more important to you?
-Doing something, even if it’s wrong…or...
Doing what God wants you to do?!

3. Jesus submitted Himself to the anointing & leading of the Holy Spirit

If Jesus considered the Holy Spirit to be essential to His life and ministry, who are we to think that we don’t need the Holy Spirit?
John 14:15–17 NKJV
15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
John 15:26 NKJV
26 “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.
John 16:7 NKJV
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.
Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit!
Matthew 3:16–4:1 NKJV
16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. 17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” 1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
Romans 8:14 NKJV
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
1 John 2:27 NKJV
27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.
We won’t need to be “taught” how to have healings or miracles (no one showed Jesus), but the Holy Spirit will teach us & lead us.

4. Jesus DID

Hebrews 10:7 NKJV
7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come— In the volume of the book it is written of Me— To do Your will, O God.’ ”
Anything written in God’s word is fair game for us to act upon:
1 John 3:8 NKJV
8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
Mark 16:17–18 NKJV
17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Matthew 10:7–8 NKJV
7 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
If you see someone sick - lay hands on them
If you see someone demon possessed- cast the devil out of them
If you see see a leper - cleanse them
If you find a dead person that died prematurely - command them to live
If you see anything that the devil is stealing, killing, or destroying - Destroy that
Speak with New Tongues

Just One Thing:

If we are not willing to do these basic things, we will not see the power of God in operation in our lives!
