But God......

When we look at the story of David in his current situation of being an outlaw and on the run from Saul and his 3000 plus elite soldiers we begin to realize the struggles that he was facing was not your typical problems that David planning for, he had heard from God that Saul was coming to get him. So he moved fast to get to the mountain to hide and this is where we are going to pick up at.
1 Samuel 23:25–28 NLT
25 When David heard that Saul and his men were searching for him, he went even farther into the wilderness to the great rock, and he remained there in the wilderness of Maon. But Saul kept after him in the wilderness. 26 Saul and David were now on opposite sides of a mountain. Just as Saul and his men began to close in on David and his men, 27 an urgent message reached Saul that the Philistines were raiding Israel again. 28 So Saul quit chasing David and returned to fight the Philistines. Ever since that time, the place where David was camped has been called the Rock of Escape.
1 Samuel 23:25 NLT
25 When David heard that Saul and his men were searching for him, he went even farther into the wilderness to the great rock, and he remained there in the wilderness of Maon. But Saul kept after him in the wilderness.
Some of you all are trying to figure out why you are faced with the challenges you are faced with because in your mind you have done all that the system has told you to do. The system has told you lock the doors close the blinds, buy more toilet paper then you’ll ever use! Pull your money from the market and put it into Bitcoin, pull your money from Bitcoin and put it into Gold, pull from Gold and put it into this Pyramid that is going to only cost you a car payment.
Like David you are listening to those who would tell you to trust “The Great Rock” of this world and they are trying to keep you dependent on the system and not on God.
Stop Listening to those who are not listening God
1 Samuel 23:26 NLT
26 Saul and David were now on opposite sides of a mountain. Just as Saul and his men began to close in on David and his men,
Some of you all have put yourself in whats called the pincer position and you have trapped yourself between the enemy on this mountain with nowhere to go! You can’t go left or right because the enemy is coming around booth sides of that great mountain that was suppose to be there to protect you. You can’t go up because you got those who are dependent on you and that will just slow you down trying to get away from the enemy. You can’t go over because you are too high up and you will just fall to your death. So what are you to do?
Psalm 54 NLT
For the choir director: A psalm of David, regarding the time the Ziphites came and said to Saul, “We know where David is hiding.” To be accompanied by stringed instruments. 1 Come with great power, O God, and rescue me! Defend me with your might. 2 Listen to my prayer, O God. Pay attention to my plea. 3 For strangers are attacking me; violent people are trying to kill me. They care nothing for God. Interlude 4 But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive! 5 May the evil plans of my enemies be turned against them. Do as you promised and put an end to them. 6 I will sacrifice a voluntary offering to you; I will praise your name, O Lord, for it is good. 7 For you have rescued me from my troubles and helped me to triumph over my enemies.
God’s sovereign hand is always protecting us. even when we can’t see it. Remember that God always has a Ram in His bushes and He is not a man that he can lie.
Numbers 23:19 NLT
19 God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?
Minister I lost my Job what should I do?
Philippians 4:19 NLT
19 And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.
I am about to lose my house, my car, my loved ones are sick God what am I to do!
Psalm 50:15 CEV
15 Pray to me in time of trouble. I will rescue you, and you will honor me.
Which brings us to our next point.
Hold fast to the promises God has given you. For the test is a testament to your triumph.
See amidst all of this that appeared to be the end and even with David running to “The Great Rock” one thing remained same… The promise that God gave to David His servant. You will be king!
1 Samuel 23:27–28 CEB
27 But a messenger suddenly came to Saul. “Come quick!” he said. “The Philistines have invaded the land!” 28 So Saul broke off his pursuit of David and went to fight the Philistines. That’s why that place is called Escape Rock.
When all else fails and seems like nothing is going to work in your favor of your situation this is when God can show up to show out and that’s when you realize it ain’t luck! It ain’t chance! Which brings us to our final and closing point
