#1 Gird Loins with Truth
You gird your loins with truth by staying in the place where you know the truth of who you are and who He is.
He is good and He loves you.
What does He specifically like about you?
Remember this in all times of your life
#2 Breastplate of Righteousness
You put on the breastplate of Righteousness by indulging and showing your love for Jesus and others.
Protects your heart and place where love comes from.
Gratitude, Praise, Serving,
From a place of being loved, showing love.
Last Weeks Assignment:
Remember what specifically Jesus loves about you and you love about Him?
Thank God for a specific memory of your connection with Him.
Think of a place in your life where you know God is leading you to be thankful for that you feel you have to defend yourself from.
Invite God into that place or memory.
Tell Him you want a connection with God in that place more than you want justice.
Taking up the full armor of God is assertive or offensive not defensive.
You dont put on the armor of God by will power.
You dont put on the armor of God to defend yourself.
13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. 14 Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

This verse is part of a common section of Scripture referred to as the “Armor of God”. It describes several pieces of what would have been the common equipment of the Roman soldier of that day.
The soldiers wore boots with long cleats or nail-like spikes that would allow them to anchor themselves to ground with more stability than the enemy.
Story:
Taking the step towards the church on how and when we opening the building.
I know people who felt peace about shopping for house and then they did not buy because peace left.
The Gospel of Peace:
The Gospel of Peace anchors us, giving us divine confidence that when the battle for souls rages, and the enemy world comes against us, we can stand firm know that we are at peace with God when all around us is in chaos.
The Preparation of:
Prepare before you need it.
Before you go into a situation that may draw you into being defensive.
Be offensive.
7 How lovely on the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who announces peace And brings good news of happiness, Who announces salvation, And says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
The good news here is Jesus is our salvation and God wins.
Shod your feet with the preparation of the good news of Peace:
You shod your feet by putting your confidence in the peace Holy Spirit is giving you.
Before you go into your day on Monday focus on one thing you have peace about. Let that one thing be what you put your confidence in.
The peace that passes understanding can not be imitated.
7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Holy Spirit is our guide.
Holy Spirit guides our footsteps.
Holy Spirit will lead you if you are listening with your spirit not your emotions, natural understanding or souls desires.
You know what you have peace about and no one or thing can take that from you today.
Assignment:
Make a morning routine by taking up the pieces of armor we have learned about so far.
1. Remember what specifically Jesus loves about you and you love about Him?
2. Thank or Praise God for a specific memory of your connection with Him.
Who can you serve or give to today from that place of connection.
Invite God to help you become thankful for an area you hate or want to forget.
3. Put your confidence in one thing Holy Spirit has given you peace about.
What is one step you can take today that relates to that peace?
