In the closing passage of Matthew 11, we will learn how God always offers grace in the reality of judgment. Jesus invites those not wise in their own eyes and those “heavy laden” to a relationship that offers rest rather than judgment. We will learn what this relationship is and consider the means by which we come to it. Finally, we will learn what the yoke of Jesus is, why it is easy and light, and what our promise of rest consists of.
