Acts 3:1-26

gate of the temple … called Beautiful. A large and ornate gate inside the temple mount on the eastern side, separating the Court of the Gentiles from the Court of the Women.

Beggars considered the temple the best site to operate because the daily throngs came to impress God with their pious good works, including offerings at the temple treasury.

The Gospel

The preaching of Gospel is meant to make people whole v. 16

In Jesus, the wholeness and strength of the presence of God can be found.

In a word: The shalom is found in Jesus

Shalom – Peace

We think of peace as the absence of conflict
The Jews think of it as the presence of the goodness of God

It’s the presence of wholeness or completeness
