Daniel is a perfect example of integrity. He would not let go of his convictions.
Dan. 1:8- Purposed – to determine
A. Conviction – the Bible was the word of God and was his marching orders for life
1. Lev. 11:44-47-
B. Commitment – Daniel was committed to following God. Following God doesn’t mean living our Biblical principals when it is convenient; it is a life we live no matter what comes around.
C. Courage- many times it takes courage to stand-alone. To do what is right when all others are against us.
We need to be men and women of integrity. Because God hated hypocrisy. A hypocrite is someone who portrays something they are not. Amos 5:21-24- the Lord rejected their worship because it was absent of righteousness.
Many are only concerned with pleasing themselves. Isa. 1:11,13-18.
