On making life abundant.

Father God, I cry as we gather around your word today. Lord, you hear our prayer as we as we gather around your word all speak to us as a Perpetual God and Lord, I pray that your work would not just have an impact right now but have an impact Lord God around the nations in time later in, as long as you listen to recordings lights up and will press into that, and believe you from every Cruise in Jesus thing on me. Just to give you a bit of a heads up here, I'm hoping to try some different, some different bits of Technology. First thing I want to say, let's think about a somebody who's going to burglarize your house, I'm going to break into your house. We don't want to welcome the thief. But what's the purpose of the thief? Are you? Can shout it out. Wherever you insisting. The purpose of the thief is to steal us.

And he's Papa's, he's not just a tight something from us, but quite often to kill something in us to cause destruction to break something and to destroy.

So I had already won if I was on the thief but the thief has that purpose in mind and so the first thing I want to say thieves in North good, let's not make friends with the Apes. It's not welcome. Let's go get some room in our lives. If you got a house or a flatso, some accommodation, then you'd be encouraged to keep you off your building site to protect it. Not to leave the windows. I would not to leave valuables obviously visible. But we can take the scripture further cuz Jesus talks about the thief, but he talks about the enemy the devil, the devil does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.

Okay, that what sounds do? All the negativity might be thinking same things why you telling us about this, okay? I want us to be safe and healthy and well, but that we also need to know that he wasn't just Jesus warning us. But he then said, why am I here? I have come that they may have life. And that they may have it. More abundantly. Yeah. We were living. If you're listening to this then I assume you're alive. You're breathing. Have you ever tried to stop breathing to join? Hold your breath. Right now, even though I'm speaking eventually your body will kick inside. Now, I need to breathe and it will override you trying to stop breathing. And so gorgeous design for life. God has designed this for life, and he's designed us for abundance. He's designed us for some great things.

And so, this is the thing that I love about a scripture is not only wounds us to avoid the enemy, avoid the safe. but also, To look for the author of Abundant Life. Now this is just a test before we focus on the pontoon, life is just finished off a look at the enemy too safe. In one pizza 5S site, it says, it's be sober. Be vigilant because your adversary, the devil walks around like a roaring lion seeking, whom he may devour. First thing used to know in highlighted, it here like a roaring lion. He's not aligned Jesus, is the lion of the tribe of Judah, but he eats eats like a lion to kill and destroy, as we read in those previous versus in, in, in John 10:10, we write the thief does not come, except sit still, and to kill and to destroy the thief. Beware of the thief watch out and don't make him welcome distraction. So let's think about some of the things that we could be stolen from all live. Is Christian's not. If we, let me encourage you to watch out for signs of these things, watch out for joy that disappears you had joy and now it's something being stolen from you. I hope that you had for the future and suddenly some circumstance as cool as that hope to disappear or something that you are believing for entrusting for I thought you were believing and trusting for it suddenly, that vision is gone in the future. But now that fight these disappearing maybe because that was correct in. These are signs that the enemy, is it what he's trying to cause us? He's stealing all joy. I'll hope I'll be getting off. I also, if we have signs of disunity of confusion with this agreement and this is a sign that the the enemies on the attack on finally, watch out for a loss of momentum lawsuit, a lawsuit Drive, these are things that get destroyed if we're not careful. So, let me encourage you to be vigilant. To be vigilant. Because it's in these things. So what can we use? What we can use? Some of the things that Sunday school looking at this off today, the armor of God, we can put on the helmet of salvation. We can pick up the sword of the spirit. We can hold up the shield of faith, we can wear the belt of Truth. We can have the breastplate of righteousness and the feet shod with the Readiness of the gospel of peace. Things are all great, things I be vigilant, watch out, don't welcome the enemy, don't leave the door, open God's your hearts as as we're encouraged to do in scripture guard your hearts, protect them. Keep the warp, keep them safe, and look after them. So let's go back to John 10:10. Unless move on from focusing on the Federated, I want to fight this, and that, why did Jesus come in the message version? I came so that they can have a real and eternal life more and better life than we've ever dreamed of A simple living but you know, yeah, we can we can go through life. We can live but there's so much more to life than just existing. We can have real and eternal eyesight's, not just life now but life eternally with God. Jesus came the Son of God came to this earth to live like house and to know how we are and to know of our existence in our experience. But he denied, he was crucified on the cross of Calvary. He paid the price, the separates us from God. He paid the price for sin. How do you return to the father? He, he rose again. And therefore in that promise with that process is that we too can have eternal life. We accept Jesus as our savior as we acknowledge him as a sacrificial lamb. I'm sorry it's not just its eternal life that Jesus promises but more and better life and expanded life. I didn't Lodge life and so more abundantly in the translation that we read out here, So let's think about that. Let's think about that. Now, as we look at the Amplified version, The thief probably comes in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came they might have and enjoy life and have it in abundance to the full until it overflows. What's the best visual image of abundance? The visual image of abundance, is this the visual image of abundance? Is that is more than enough is more for others. If you imagine filling up a cup with water and keep on pouring eventually the cop gets full and then he starts to pull down the side as he pulls down the sides. It overflows, there's nothing better than being next. To someone who's full of joy. You come out to catch it. I'm sorry if you're freaking love on Joy. Con find someone who's got joy. If you're feeling low and hope find someone who's hopeful If you're feeling low in 5, then pray with someone who's full of Fife. And if you reach out to the church, reach out to the body of Christ, the church and I'd be full of joy. It's catching, it's great to be over fly. I go once each one of us to be overflowing with the abundance of life, to the full until it overflows. So that means the overflowing means. It will be enough. Then he's over flys, it overflows, it goes everywhere. Just imagine a small child building up a cap and not paying attention. Sunnydaze, drink all over the table overflow. But we do know, it's just right to be around other people who want to share, who want to share that love and share that love in manifest ways. So we've looked at the faithful, it's not welcome him. That's not make room for him. And when we see the strategies him at work, let's come with counter-strategies to be a Christian to know, got to know Jesus, or we might have the Abundant Life, Abundant Life will drive back. The impact of the opportunity for stealing killing and destroying. If we have Abundant Life, then we are overflowing with the joy, the piece, the hope, the purpose that God has given us. And we can stand on the promises that the father has given us. We can be full of the gifts of the Spirit, the gifts of the Spirit. What's a wisdom? What your knowledge was the prophecy Miracles? Give 25 just to call to PA and if we full of the spirit, then there will be fruit. Fruit is a sign of Life. We've been doing some gardening in our house over the summer and look down. And one of the things that I tied it up off, if you have all trees on Cherry Tree in the front, yard has been proved a scripture says he's proved, it may be more fruitful but it's full of life and life will come again because it has been proved So that abundant like lipstick now, to Matthew Chapter 5 and think a little bit about our impact in the world. Okay. So if we're full of this life, what will happen? What do Matthew 5 verses 13 to 16? It says this, you are the salt of the earth, that's us. You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt loses, its flavor. How how shall it be seasons? Did you send good for nothing? But peace. You are the light of the world. The city that you set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light the lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lime stand and it gives light to all who are in the house.

Let your let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your father in Heaven. Let's go back to the beginning of that. Versus salt in a way, we describe the salt and light hair and so has an impact. It brings out the flavor in food. It's also a cleansing agent. I have been in meetings, where people know, I'm being a Christian and we've been having a conversation and somebody's got angry about something and they swarm, and then they sent to me and I had a conversation with need to apologize to me, but just out of Interest. Why did you do that? And you said, okay, but please don't worry about me being offended. I think it would be better if you just try to curb your tongue. but at least the point that my presence in that conversation, cause them to notice good and not-so-good So yeah, if we lose also penis, if we lose our ability to bring flavor into a situation, then we no longer effective for God. And so, let me encourage you, let me encourage you to be salty to get out there and to get into proximity. So it needs to be close to the meat that he's bringing flavor oz of salt needs to be in the dish that he's kind of, bring flavor, Hansel and you, and I need to engage whether that's online whether that spice device, socially distanced. But we need to engage with people community friends, family, and allow the saltiness of God to impact them through your sometimes, by off fruits. We will be known I'm so consequently, people, notice that way peaceful in difficult times, they notice when there is uncertainty, we have confidence, they noticed that we are maybe a little stable in a storm and that's because of the anchor of Christ in our lives. That's because he is also a personal safety and being so see you then goes on to say you are the light of the world. What is the purpose of the light in your life? That brings dry ice back Darkness. Darkness is full of uncertainty, but like brings Clarity light, brings the light brings hope light illuminates in so we are the light of the world, so let's not hide ourselves. Let's be willing to be seen. Be willing to make a comment on Facebook, to be willing to send a WhatsApp message to pick up the phone and give someone a call to share with somebody. I'm to encourage someone to reach out to someone and do that in many and different ways. You are the light of the world. So, do not be hidden. Let your light shine his. The thing, when, when all life signs people will notice. And as they notice

Then they will see. And then we, as we read on in that gospel chapter, let your light shine before men. Before people. Let your light be visible. That's the saying that says when a tree falls in the forest does it make a noise as a similar question? I could ask around the scripture that would say OK, Google light shine when there's no one there to see when we can see the effect of the lights. Unless there's someone else that. So let your light shine before men, let them see your good works not for your benefit. But then we glorify God in heaven. And then glorifying a father in Heaven, we give witness to him. We give witness to him to what he's done. We give witness to how he's changed. Our lives. In Revelation, it talks about, we will overcome by the word of Our Testimony. By the blood of the lamb, and not loving our lives on today. I'm not going to fight this too much on the mall to them. But I will, at least come in son saying the word of Our Testimony as people cuddle challenge it because it's it's a testimony. And often, when you share your testimony comes with passion, it comes with an overflow. It comes with it, comes with a, plus a move on. And so people don't just get the work that I just get the story. They also get the impact of the story. I want to remember taking a group of young people to events in tollwood, and one of the speakers that was speaking with such passion, he was telling a story on one of the young people who was with us, trying to be inside. I don't really believe what he's saying, but I cannot deny the truth of the story. I cannot deny the passion is being communicated. I feel this is this is speaking to me even though I don't necessarily get it. And so I want to encourage you, allow your testimony to speak. Let your light shine before men, so that your Works will glorify Our Father in heaven. You want to play? If I go that way, you want to share his love. We want to share a space. He's Joy. Let's go back to that script. I'm not going to bring it up again. But let's go back to that scripture again that we talked for John 10:10. Let's allow joy to a rise in us. Let's learn our faith to arise in us. Let it overflow. Jesus said I came that you might have life and have it more abundantly. Abundantly life is going to be messy. Abundant life is going to overflow, that means you will have more joy than you need. Maybe lost them might follow. How do you spell Red Lobster? What a glorious thing when it happens. You might have faith with something and you have so much fight through something that other people say. I'm willing to go with you even though I'm not quite sure why I just incensed that God speaking to you speaking through you and I want to go with you into this. Hope hope such a powerful thing. Let me encourage you is scripture that says, do not do, not give up encouraging one another. Let me encourage you hope. So powerful thing, share it with others, in powerful ways. I need sharing it with others. In powerful ways, we will see God's kingdom. A lot of people saying, how can you have hope in this time of uncertainty? How can you have fights? How can you believe in God? Lexi shadows. And she talked about various testimonies and I'll give you a different testimony somebody in church should not be working through lockdown. I had a job this week announced by. So congratulations on on being at a step into work again. He's good. Off my final scripture for this morning is this is from one pizza. Chapter 4 verse 8. And the possible things have fervent love for one another.

Love will cover a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without grumbling and each one has received a gift Ministry to one another as good. Stewards of the man manifold grace of God. First you let me just just point out here, you know, it's love, it's loves the currency. Love is the key and I'd love for one another and love one. Other doesn't just mean your mom, will you die? Do your children for one another. That's the church. That's God's creation. That's the people around us, Jesus and Carries us to love our enemies. Because love covers a multitude of sins as a real challenge in the world to die, where people are trying to get things, perfect all the time, and the such a world of criticism. In such a world of negativity, I used to be a primary school teacher from time to time. I'll be looking to do that this time again even with social distancing, but when I went with you and it's just great to see that creativity that passion that energy. And I think of it the last time you had a niece or nephew or a son or daughter, bring home a picture and then bringing home a picture. They brought home this picture to say mommy, daddy look what I painted. Some of the picture 14 years as realistic as you hoped it might be but the cleansing is the thing. You can paint, you can find out with things if you go to the great pieces of olives and under the layers of paint, you can find other pictures and things have been changed and I was great artists, creating something didn't like it, they painted over. It doesn't take away the history of what happened, but it speaks for life in New Hope. So, let me encourage you, be hospitalized and be hospitable your life, Your Love with others.

Finalize, this as each one has received your eyes. Christians, God wants to give to us. He's standing there with hands, ready with hands, ready in the open and he wants to bring a gift to us and give it to us. But that requires that all hands are open and full of other stuff. It's a game that used to be played in the show my age. Now these to be a game played on the program called Cracker Jack. Somebody's just shouting out crackerjack him they like to fight it's just coming up to me. Even if it's 525. Somebody probably Children's Program that used to be a BJ's in Kings and if you got the question, right, you go to price. And then if you got the question wrong, you go to Cabbage, why haven't you great? Big cabbage. This and you were meant to hold all of these things. Till the end of the game, if you held them till the end of the game prizes, and you got to keep the cabbages, but it goes to both questions. You answer them all things. You had to hold. If you go to all right, and you just had a pot of boxes, if you got it wrong, now you had a box in the cab. That was difficult. But what I'm saying is, let's Presley, why am I telling you that story? Well, let's empty our hands. The things that we don't need to hold. So that all hands are ready to receive a gift from God. A gift that we can use a gift that we can light set of hands. And we can share it with others before hands are ready to use. And all hands are ready to use that gift that we can Minister it to one another, to be good stewards of the manifold grace of God. That's all I want. What I want to be around people who have did so using it it's nothing better than going to a birthday party and hearing a a child comes up to you. My soul recently.

And she was just so excited about it. It was a present that she got. And she was so excited about this. Let's be excited about the gift that we are receiving. Let's share them with others. That's use them to minister one to another. So that will be full of joy. And the gift will arise will be full of Hope. And a gift will be released. I need free free adding MC then, let's reach out to church, let's reach out to friends and let's ask them to pray for us that we too. Might have gifts that we can use his skills and talents that can be used over, floating hope and joy. It will manifest in Jesus name Watch out for the thief. Discourage him that welcomes I make him feel at home. I'm he's not there to make you happy. He's not there to tell these stories. Is that still to kill and to destroy. Also, let's get a nice Ficus off the thief, and let's get our eyes focused on Jesus who came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. I'm going to leave out that life and have a life that is full of fruits, full of Hope For The Joy, for the love, for the faith, full of the fruits of the spirits. And then doing that, we will see God's hand work in our lives, in the church, in the community, and here on Earth. So, let me play. Father, God, I thank you that you loved us so much that you sent your one and only son Jesus to pay the price for us, in for all wrongdoing. We're all separated Nest from you But that Chasm could be bridged as your son, Jesus Paid the price on the cross but he rose again in fulfillment of scripture and is a promise, he came and he sent your right hands and he sent the Holy Spirit the comforter to strengthen us to an eye Blossom. So father I pray for those who don't yet, know those who were listening right now, who do not know these diseases that I'm talkin about father. I pray that Lord. You use open that hops to know your son specifically today. Father, for those of us who are dry and empty. Fill us with your Holy Spirit again, today that we might be full of joy. Hyper and full of purpose about it. Would you drive back the strategies of the enemy that we would recognize? It's just a rule and he's in the jungle. I mean that we are willing willing and able to put on the armor of the Holy Spirit. Put on the armor of God. The price fight of righteousness knowing who we are in. You the belt of Truth. We choose to declare truth on a daily basis. The helmet of salvation knowing who we are in Christ. The Sword of the spirit that we can attack the strategies of the enemy. The CO2 fight Dua, we can make our stand and take it and then we can take that and be ready to move with a facial, but the Readiness of the gospel of peace So, probably going to be thank you in Jesus name.
