Our belief that our sins are forgiven. Our hope in resurrection. Our desire to share salvation with the world. What is all that based on? I would say the record of what God has done for those who love Him in the past, and the record of what He will do in the future. Further, the testimony of His children witnessing what He does for us in the meantime, between these times. In this message, we are reminded that He routes us. He tells us not to fear. He fights for us. He takes His revenge on our enemies, and sometimes, lets us have a small role in the battle. But never forget: He gets the lion’s share of the work and the credit.
