Don’t force Jesus into every verse, every story, every character of the Old Testament. BUT, think about everything that you read in the Old Testament in light of the person and work of Jesus Christ and consider how what you are reading might be pointing you in His direction. If you can just start thinking toward Christ as you are reading the Old Testament, it will have a profound impact on the way you read and understand the Old Testament Scripture.
