The Lord is mighty in battle

Psalm 24:8 NKJV
Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle.
2020 has been a trying year. Situations ranging from the individual level, all the way to this global pandemic. There’s constantly escalating riots everywhere. There’s people fighting over mask wearing in everywhere. there’s people getting their property vandalized because of who they politically support. And that’s just to name a few things.
Some are starting to fight back against all these hateful and violent things. However, they aren’t really fighting the most effective way. Physically, maybe it seems effective. But, band-aids don’t stop you from getting another cut.
We serve a might God. Who’s name alone is powerful enough to calm the storms we’re in. There is also a growing army of prayer worriers, who have realized that what the world is going through is not physical. It is spiritual. The enemy (satan) has turned up the heat on the whole world. There’s a serious spike of hate and violence all across God’s creation.
Fighting back with God at our side is then only way this comes to an end. He is the only one who can restore peace and order on the earth. After all His name isn’t just Jesus. He is:
Jehovah Sabaoth- The Lord of Hosts (Armies)
Jehovah Uzzi- Strength
Jehovah Megan- Shield
El Shaddai- Lord God Almighty
El Olam- Everlasting God
Jehovah Shalom- Peace
