Once You Are Ready, DO.

While going through your journey in life that God has qualified and prepared you for. We must understand why we do what we do. DO what we have always been called to DO, because we are set by the One that has made us READY. This short verse today that we have read is so exhaustive yet a clear indicator of what is needed to the prepared to become “set” in their purpose.
When you think of doing something, what come to your mind? How does it look? What is your thought process to get it done?
Think about it we were or maybe even still are set in our ways, but how many of our set ways are set in the Seat of God’s delight? You’re set, but was it from Him making you ready for the moment? You’re set, but what thoughts have been made seated within your setting for God’s purpose for your life? Some of us say we are set in our way, but so was Abraham, until the setting NEEDED to BE CHANGED!!!
What environments, relationships, mindsets, speech habits that you have do you need to BREAK from DOING?
Your true understanding of set must be fluid. My ONLY SETTING IS IN the Hands of the Father. I am SET IN HIS WAY and not mine. You see the intent for this verse is going to be made clear as we continue to discuss this text.
What ways do you have that need to be broken?
Once we are able to grasp that we must DO what He says in order to be SET we understand the necessity of once we come into our READINESS we find out that there is a step in between to get to being SET, we have to DO what we have been set (forth) to do.

He Does Not Only want Us to DO, But He will Help Us DO IT!

The text tells us in the first part of it, normally contextually and grammatically you never start a sentence off with BUT, but in this case he starts it off with “But God Helps me...” in fact if you read throughout this entire chapter you will see that the prophet will show us how much he leans on the Father’s aid through this tough journey he says,” but the Lord will help me....”
When He sends us forward for the journey He never leaves us to figure it out.
Isn’t it awesome that we are able to look to Him as we are set that God will help us achieve what is needed for Him?

Honor is not something you just come across, He gives it to you.

We should find ourselves in place of great esteem as we are being obedient to the Father. We should desire and pursue the approval of God over the mass opinion of people. There are times that we allow people to speak on the places that have nothing to do with them, weren’t given the jurisdiction of being one of those to act as a support system.
Placement can determine how you are set. One of the most dangerous things we can do in culinary is take a product out of the elements that it needs to become what it was intended by exposing it too soon, it will be undone and not as attractive, it can taste bad and will just be an overall horrible product. It makes us infallible, not my words read it again....,”But the Lord God Helps me; therefore I have not been disgraced....”
Staying in God, and persistent in seeking out His guidance makes the assignment of our purpose sure, causes us to be honorable. We find ourselves disgraced when we try to lean to our own understanding and thinking we have seen “this” done before, or just think we know it all.

Final Thought

Four things that we need to take away from this in order to be set:
God Helps Us DO what needs to get DONE!
He will make you honorable.
He makes you highly influential (go into the characteristics of flint and how it is used to make fire, and how it is used to sharpen tools) (ie being created as a change agent, a fire starter, a spark of hope, love, joy, peace, strength, etc)
He will ASSURE your honor in what He has set you to do
