Gospel at the centre- Steve Wimble

Gospel mission not just to come to us – but to capture us, to send us

Ro 1:1 (ESV) Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God,

Ro 1:9 (ESV) For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I mention you

Ro 1:15 (ESV) So I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome.

Ro 1:16 (ESV) For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

2.       The Gospel demands service

-          He wants it all

3.       The Gospel needs eager proclamation

-          Enthusiastic

-          Proclaimed

-          Centre is mission – therefore go

4.       Gospel is powerful

-          Doesn’t need us

-          God has set eternity into hearts of men

5.       Gospel grips hearts to turn them outwards

We as leaders consider how we can reach unreached – different bait for different people
