Tying Faith and Action Together

We are responding by Faith

Responding is not necessarily mission work

our respond become our doing what God is calling us to

starts out with definition of faith - picking out for his own purposes

Assurance of things hoped for

Inward conviction - things might not be great we can stilll trust in God

Outward actuality

not somewhere in the sweet by and by but God is actually doing these things

Faith is in an inward reality and an outward reality

Inwardly faith moves heart outwardly faith moves mountains

The inward work that gives rise to the outward work

through the eye of Faith we see that grace is everywhere

We only had the first category of people

The list of people that are righteous are listed they listed to God

Not a you need to do XYZ

Believing that when you take action God will be with you in it

You have to trust that contemplative prayer is effective and makes a difference

discernment is a part of faith

Not all of these amazing things that people did were completely understood when they were done

Faith is assurance that God is with us and that’s why we respond

This is why: To join in God’s work
