Acts 28:1-10

God Is In Control

Introduction
People in my generation have never experienced a global pandemic of this nature before until now. There are many questions and concerns about what is going on? What’s next? When is the cure coming? Why is this happening?
My answer is this — GOD IS IN CONTROL? Even if it sound “cliche’ish” it is nevertheless TRUE!!
Luke continues to chronicle the Apostle Paul’s experiences for his readers.
The main objective of the sermon is to remind some and inform others about the sovereignty, favor, protection, and power of God that is as real and prevalent today as it was in the life of the Apostle Paul.

Compassion, human
Synopsis
An attitude of care and concern, grounded in pity and sympathy towards others. Christian compassion towards others should reflect the compassion of God for his people.
Compassion is a vital requirement in Christian character.
3. The Protection of God (3-6)
If Paul survived the Ship Wreck, he survive a Snake Bite
If Paul Survived a Ship Wreck he can Survive a Snake Bite —
IF I SURVIVED THAT, I CAN SURVIVE THIS!!!
4. The Power of God (7-10)
Gift giving - Giving objects to another person. This may have been done with or without expectation of reimbursement or reciprocation.

Undeserved favor or kindness, mercy, compassion and generosity are to be found in human relationships and are strongly encouraged in Scripture.
Kindness
Synopsis
The quality of compassion and generosity, characteristic of God’s dealings towards the weak and poor, and demanded of believers. The kindness is also shown in the words and deeds of Jesus Christ.
Healing - Curing or healing a person of an infirmity, sickness, or injury through supernatural means.
