Romans 1:18–20 NKJV
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
From last week:
I’m not saying:
the cell is complex, therefore God had to do it
I’m saying:
life isn’t possible without at least 10 pieces, including a language, all existing simultaneously, and none of them could have developed step-by-step.
This process is as simple as it is possible to be.
This process cannot be simpler, so the argument that earlier cells were “simpler” would mean they can’t self-replicate, therefore life wouldn’t be possible.
This is based on what we know not what we don’t know.
The more we learn about the cell, the more impossible it becomes to exist without guidance, intelligence, and a creator.
RNA is useless without machines that can read it. Machines that can read RNA are useless without RNA. Which came first?
A language can’t develop step-by-step, machines that do not function without other machines cannot develop step-by-step, machines that do not function without the language cannot develop step-by-step.
Even if you used as much science-fiction as you wanted, you wouldn’t be able to come up with a way that natural-process could have produced this system without guidance and a creator.
Science is silent on the issue, despite over 100 years of trying.
aminoacyl-tRNA syntase reads the language, tRNA contains the language, mRNA contains the language, RNA polymerase reads the language, the ribosome reads the language, EF’s (elongation factors) read the language. -> that’s at least 6 pieces that serve no purpose without the language.
Judges 16:23–30 NKJV
23 Now the lords of the Philistines gathered together to offer a great sacrifice to Dagon their god, and to rejoice. And they said: “Our god has delivered into our hands Samson our enemy!” 24 When the people saw him, they praised their god; for they said: “Our god has delivered into our hands our enemy, The destroyer of our land, And the one who multiplied our dead.” 25 So it happened, when their hearts were merry, that they said, “Call for Samson, that he may perform for us.” So they called for Samson from the prison, and he performed for them. And they stationed him between the pillars. 26 Then Samson said to the lad who held him by the hand, “Let me feel the pillars which support the temple, so that I can lean on them.” 27 Now the temple was full of men and women. All the lords of the Philistines were there—about three thousand men and women on the roof watching while Samson performed. 28 Then Samson called to the Lord, saying, “O Lord God, remember me, I pray! Strengthen me, I pray, just this once, O God, that I may with one blow take vengeance on the Philistines for my two eyes!” 29 And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars which supported the temple, and he braced himself against them, one on his right and the other on his left. 30 Then Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” And he pushed with all his might, and the temple fell on the lords and all the people who were in it. So the dead that he killed at his death were more than he had killed in his life.
God’s Plan was for Samson to be faithful.
How much could Samson have done if he’d remained faithful?
God’s strength had been available the whole time!
God used even Samson’s mistakes, whenever Samson finally called out to God.
Which things in this situation did God use for His purposes?
God put all the philistine’s in that temple, He made them all drunk, He put Samson between the two pillars, even Samson’s eyes being gouged out was used by God! It made them put their guard down!
No philistine in his right mind would put a strengthened, non-blind Samson between two pillars!
