All we need from the Lord

Psalm 16:6 – “The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me.”

1. O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup

Isa. 54:17

Salvation past– We are present with Christ at calvary as OT saints with bull on the altar - Salvation in the past

2. You maintain my lot. Salvation now

We have God's great promises & blessings

This parallels division of land W/ Moses with God providing everything we need for this present life.

3. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places.

Salvation Future - God's plan from Gen 1,2 with fellowship with humanity restored in Rev 21, 22 - the other 1800 chapters relate God restoring feloowship to humanity. God's image.

Ephesians 1:11; Col. 1:12 

4. "Yes, I have a good inheritance" cf. "Goodly heritage"

testimony - hear Gospel - Eph. 2:4-7

Heritage - All God's provision in this life Salvation secured Living.
