The Prayer of Consecration is a prayer of dedication!

2 Corinthians 8:5 TPT
5 They exceeded our expectations by first dedicating themselves fully to the Lord and then to us, according to God’s pleasure.
2 Timothy 2:21 TPT
21 But you, Timothy, must not see your life and ministry this way. Your life and ministry must not be disgraced, for you are to be a pure container of Christ and dedicated to the honorable purposes of your Master, prepared for every good work that he gives you to do.

The Prayer of Consecration is a prayer of devotion!

Titus 3:14 TPT
14 Encourage the believers to be passionately devoted to beautiful works of righteousness by meeting the urgent needs of others and not be unfruitful.

The Prayer of Consecration can be used to set aside a whole household!

Joshua 24:15 NKJV
15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

The Prayer of Consecration is never about our will!

Luke 22:41–44 NLT
41 He walked away, about a stone’s throw, and knelt down and prayed, 42 “Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.” 43 Then an angel from heaven appeared and strengthened him. 44 He prayed more fervently, and he was in such agony of spirit that his sweat fell to the ground like great drops of blood.
