2 Kings 23:24–25 CSB
In addition, Josiah eradicated the mediums, the spiritists, household idols, images, and all the abhorrent things that were seen in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem. He did this in order to carry out the words of the law that were written in the book that the priest Hilkiah found in the Lord’s temple. Before him there was no king like him who turned to the Lord with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his strength according to all the law of Moses, and no one like him arose after him.
As we are facing the week of See you at the pole where the choice to step out on faith and show other students that you are a follower of Jesus, We are going to Focus on the theme of this year and on what exactly the three R’s are about.
As we go through this I pray that this is something that you take in to your hearts and evaluate the following question.
Do you follow in to one or more of these categories of these R’s?
The first R’s is the start of us building our relationship with Christ in the way that we should. The first R is the R of Return.

Return

You might be asking yourself what exactly does that mean? In at least one time of a Christians life we chose to get up and throw our hands up and walk away from. It doesn’t really matter what your age is wither young or older we have all been at this point in our lives.
In order for the Light of Christ to Shine we have to Return back to the walk with Christ that He calls us to.
Understand that it takes work for this to happen but when you return back to Christ he welcomes you back with open arms. Now that doesn't mean it is going to be a walk in the park. It will in fact be one of the most difficult things that you will do.
But lets go back to our passage to see the kind of work that it took for the king to go back to God.

In addition, Josiah eradicated the mediums, the spiritists, household idols, images, and all the abhorrent things that were seen in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem. He did this in order to carry out the words of the law that were written in the book that the priest Hilkiah found in the Lord’s temple.
Now this seems pretty simple considering that He was a king and had the ability to cast out whoever he wanted. Understand that they have been live these sinful was for a long time and it was almost second nature when doing it.
It is time For us to stop being the Christians that are talk and start being the Christ followers that we are called to be.

Are you returning?

The question is are you ready to return to God and start doing the works we are called to be and start dropping the walls that we have put up?
