Prov 23:7 We are what we think... must be discerning and not act on every thought.

Prov 27:19 Determines who we are... be careful what we let into our minds

What are your priorities? Who are your authorities and whose advice do you act on?

The mind and heart are key.

Eccles 8:5 wise man discerns what is appropriate and what is inappropriate

Prov 28:26 Trust in your own heart acts foolishly Jer 17:9 What does God think - not what you think!

Prov 14:12 End of evil is bad news.

Does God care about what YOU think? Jer 17:10 Psa 7:9 No Satanic rebels in His Kingdom... He will test our hearts and minds. He is a righteous God. He probes the heart and mind.

Prov 17:3 Gen 2: Adam and Eve... they had consequences! Would they experiment or not?

Gen 17:1-2 Matt 5:48 Protestants say you can't be perfect... spiritually mature.

Gen 22:1-2 God tested Abraham. No fasting and praying that God would change His mind. Or would Abraham obey.

Ex 16:4 The people tested re the Sabbath.

Judges 2:20 Judges 3:1- Wipe them out or they will affect you. False prophets are out there as a test just like the tribes of Canaan.

Psa 11:4 God is examining our hearts... Psa 119:172 all Thy commandments are righteousness. This is how we learn the mind of God!

James 1:12 Just OT stuff... hardly. Blest are we when we endure under temptation or are tried. You stay on course. Tack - Serve - not be blown around by the wind. Serve or notoriety your desire?

So what does God want to see and what qualities are required to be in the Family of God.

Use the time to bond with the baby... girl babies tend to be lighter than boy babies. Take it easy... not chauvenism!

You have a year to let God adjust your heart this coming year. God looks on the heart and examines our heart to see whether we will compromise.
