So this is a servant I believe it was supposed to say I was well planned for last week the last week Jesus like took over. It's awesome and God hijacks the service or anything we do I'm all for the Holy Ghost hijacking stuff you ever go somewhere and God just totally takes you off of your plans and you find yourself off road and you're doing something that you would have never thought you'd be doing any like well God, you're here you're in the middle of this and this is exciting, but I realize about his people as we like our routines that we We like to know that this is what I'm going to do today. I have it all laid out. I'm going to go to work. I'm going to stop by Starbucks or my favorite coffee place or if your tea first and your favorite tea parlor and you're going to get your favorite drink before you go to work, you're going to work. You know it by the time you get home you're going to make sure your animals are fed. And then finally you're going to kick your shoes off and relax and we like routines. It's human to like routines. Are we okay with the spontaneity of God spirit?

What happens when God interrupts your plan?

Do you get upset? You frustrated. Do you look up the Heavens a God what's going on here? What happens when God interrupts you? If you remember last week 3 weeks ago. We talked about momentum number, which was his first series in this and we talked about setbacks really mean setups. Do you sometimes when we have our plans and they don't go if it doesn't go according that way, it looks like a complete sat back. But I believe God saying it's a setup. We can look at people in the Bible and see if we can go to Moses Moses killed a man in Egypt and he is out on the backside of the desert. He was a prince in Egypt. Wiggins on the desert and for us reading the story it looks like a setback. Who was on the backside of the desert? He caught a look at a burning bush. And he got to know the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. It was after Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers and look like a setback. But you became next to the king in Egypt. That's a setup. For David like a setback being out there in the field.

Being forgotten just tending the Sheep you ever get tired of doing your day-to-day tasks. That was Davis day-to-day tasks. He was just like I'm out here, but on this particular day, he fought off a lion and then the next week, it was a bear and then after that a prophet shows up and anoint him as the next king of Israel. I'm pretty sure to disciples when he's hanging on the cross wheezing and gasping for air this look like the most greatest upset in history.

But I promise you it was a setup for a resurrection. I promise you it was not a setback and I lies sometimes we feel like why did this happen to me? Why are my plans coming? What's going on here God and I want to say don't get discouraged in your setup.

Cuz it's easy to do following that we talked about having your Ambitions, right because I'm bitching comes from God. It's the desire of expansion God like to expand he created mankind to expand. His image has lost his likeness throughout. He's a god of expansion. But when your vision that you receive from the father must come under his submission. It's the only way that you will ever keep it from being selfish.

It's the only way that you'll make sure that you stand in tune with the spirit. Cuz sometimes we make our plans and how did you help me people know someone who uses people as stepping stones. They step on people to get where they want to go.

Jesus never did that he was on Mission. He had a Godly ambition that he's here to follow and do the work of the father let him to the cross and guess what people would come to Jesus a lord. Would you carry your a couple days with us know most you wore Mission really? I don't got time for this. But you know ask my wife when I get on Mission at home. Should they call you cuz I'm like listen. I'm focused. And then she gets my focus. Always knows how to do that.

But we don't like people getting in the way of our mission, but for Jesus people were not an inconvenience.

But I want to tell you your circumstance and your life experience does not change or negate the word of God. This is one of the hardest lessons. I'm being honest with you guys hardest lessons to get in your heart because I promise you things that your safety will not come and you look at God's word and you'll be faced with a Temptation in that moment. And the Temptation is to change what God has said so that you can feel emotional comfort.

I'm doing a little heavy now.

Because we want to do this thing called self-protection sometimes our self protection is to take us out of a place of face and cheapest in a place of complacency. Because we're scared got hurt there last time. So we quit trusting God and what he has said because we tried and it didn't work out.

So when you get some preacher telling you God's word will produce. Sometimes it's hard to receive it because life experiences are speaking louder.

What will you choose to believe? What will you choose to defend? Will it be the disappointment that you experience or will it be the word of God? That's true.

This will always be the Battleground and your soul that the enemy the devil the accuser of the Brethren will use against you to try to stop the plan of God in your life.

He will use this to try to keep you from dreaming again. How can you have hope if you're not looking for what's good?

If you stop looking for the possibilities of good, the only thing you're left with is a possibilities of bad of negativity. And you live in a place of Despair and unbelief. And make Christian doctrine out of it.

God's word according to that scripture comes with purpose

It is so important for us to not only know what the Bible said and says, but hear what the spirit is saying for now.

God is speaking to his people through his word and by his spirit and when we lose sight that he gave us his word for purpose. We have to ask ourselves. What is the Reason God said this? We no longer look for the Reason. God said it was like, I don't know. It's just she's just talkin.

We miss out on receiving what he saying and receiving what he's talkin about so that we can live in it. When God speaks I want to tell you something. It's always to produce life.

He's not the god of the Dead He's a god of the living. Pause for a moment and dream with me. Imagine being in heaven. Everything's alive. He's got a life imagined it right now in the room the air could talk. Imagine if your own Ventures will begin to speak and sing because he's a god of life. Everything is alive where he's at. For us on Earth would like it's an inanimate object. That means it's not moving. There's no life in it, but he is God is so where he's at things cannot do anything but live.

Big cannot do anything but live so when God speaks to you and me, it's always to produce a life. Because you only can give what he has. God said my word is like water and its nourishment it is vital for you because if you receive it, it will produce live in you some things that you you feel like you're never get over. Once you receive God's word and you begin to allow it to ruminate. Let me say meditate. Let me say Saturday, but if it begins to swell inside of you all of a sudden old habits and hang us begin to drop because you're hearing the truth. I like 70s music rock anyways, and I said there was this song that says I found the answer for the world today above there is no other Jesus is the way. don't like that is so profound and so Diggity that I love it and it's still good for today. The solutions that we need is in God's word. But as long as we're still built with our problems. We need to start being filled with the answers and solutions.

You know, that's what we're afraid to have people asking questions cuz we really don't know the answers. We have so many questions ourselves if I figured that I'll let you know if I still don't got that covered. God has given you his spirit and his word. His words comes to prosper. It comes to transform its here to change its here to cause a stir. It's here to make Society better. Put wanted person prosper in your life. He wants it first to prosper in your life. He wants to see it prospering you to the place where people sing.

Hey weren't you to do with all the problems?

I receive God's word and I just didn't just let it do nothing. I started ruminating on it and I started getting some relief about it. Like this is true. And I'm going to keep trying it because God said it will produce my wife read a scripture that says she said that don't grow weary in doing well we get so tired of doing the right thing that sometimes doing the wrong thing.

That's honesty, but you never had someone that you knew in your heart. You were cursing them out. Every time it would come to you, but that lip. You would say praise the Lord.

But then it was just that one day. You got tired of doing good. You got tired of pushing everything down, which is really good. You don't need to be fake. You don't need to push stuff down. You can let it come to the surface. So God can deal with it and stuff. God can't deal with it. Cuz we're going to go see no nothing's wrong Lord. And in our heart he's like where your heart saying something different. Not saying that person that keeps bugging you is a is a son of and it's not God.

These are the things that God wants to deal with so what happens if you get tired of doing well, you don't be real with God and that's when you know, it's that one day they caught you off-guard.

It starts off small. It starts off maybe as a seed. And as you begin to think about it, and y'all want it may be other people around you in the environment. You're in may not agree with the word you received from God or may not agree with what God is doing in your life. I remember when I got radically converted all of my friends.

I hooked up with drug addicts and drug dealers. Imagine Jesus going in the trap house. Or drug house where the hell that it turn out again. I'm hanging with these guys and Jesus lives in me now.

I think he's crazy. What I found was some of those people they quit hanging with me. They said I want Looney I got you know what the real thing was they thought I got some bad stuff. They thought I hit the hit the one thing one too many times and it was laced with something that made me not right in the head or guess but it may not make me right in the head, but it sure made my heart, right?

And so they quit being around me, but I washed over time how God started to save each one of my friends. Because the word had to prosper here first, so there was a season where God's were they invited me over and got started changing and transforming me more and more and then when they would talk to me come with problems and I would give them God's word because it worked for me. I've been busy getting to sleep while while while I do.

There comes a point where you like I can't go back. I don't want to go back. You can't give me anything to go backwards. I don't care what momentary struggles. I may experience in life. There's no way I'm jumping off this ship.

Because you start realizing wow. God is that good and his word is that true and I watched him change people. So even if I don't see something and six months, I'm still believing that by the next six months. I'm going to get double for my trouble.

We got to get that. I've been praying for this person for a year.

Are we going to start saying I've been praying for a year and Lord. I'm going to keep his leaving and I'm going to put some feet to my prayers. Do you know what that looks like? I'm going to stay in a place of Faith until healing comes.

We could discourage we have disappointment and that would be a disappointment. The momentum. God has given you by your spirit that you can accomplish great things.

I remember I was a pastor that was for well before I was a pastor. I was preached I grew up in my parents church. And I would preach there but then there came a season where I left and I wasn't preaching anywhere until you I was preaching to walls and trees. I know I left some maple trees to the Lord.

I even saw the leaves starting to change a true. They turned over a new Leaf.

It was the street that I had sight that quit just preaching the trees and started talking to people.

Why did I start seeing people getting healed when I start talking feel like you got an owie Jesus heals our you're like dude. Are you a kid? Yeah. You're an adult man saying. Oh, yeah. I may be an adult man, but I'm promise you I'm God's child.

God is loyal to his word. If anything. Loyal to his word, but God's also loyal to you know, that word loyal really is another term for faithful. Faithful to his word faithful to you. Oh God, you're so faithful. I just say that but I never felt it. Like it's just I only said oh Lord, you're faithful because I heard other people say Lord, you're faithful. So that work wasn't resonating with me at all. I can't connect. I understand what it means, but I just can't connect with it because I don't really use that terminology in my day today. I don't go to my wife honey. You know, you're so faithful.

You have to begin to believe that the Lord has committed Psalms 34:15 the Lord watch over those who do right. His ears are open to their cries for help 2nd Chronicles 16:9 in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. And then it says what a fool you've been from now on you will have be at War before it came to a kid who got shot. Sometimes in our life we are not loyal to God.

I don't care what struggles you're in the moment. I don't care. What's in trap. I don't care. What it is. God is loyal to you and your mess and he's not leaving you while you're there. He's not going to love you more when you're out of your mess. He's going to say come on buddy. We're going to keep moving.

No, this doesn't give you free pass to keep sending, but I'm telling you and your sin. Is there?

The last word I have for you guys today. Is this Philippians 1 and 6. It doesn't matter what I feel God says he's going to complete that work in me, and I'm going to take confidence. In the moment to say God's completing something in me. But I'm not going to get disheartened and disappointed by the circumstance. I'm going to take my stance on his words. Sometimes you have to work the word until the word works you.

You say that again? Let me take off the sometimes. You have to work the word until the word Works in you. Works in you Works through you we get tired of that though. But you have to stay in that place with confidence in God.

What is that thing that God's been speaking to you about privately.

Sometimes you get discouraged cuz they haven't happened been over a year. It's been 6 months. It's been 5 years.

I remember hearing the story about this missionary. he was he's in a third world country and he was preaching for over 5 years and not one person came to the Lord. Nothing was growing. Nothing was happening. Ready to give up so discouraged.

And he was praying the Lord. I'm just getting tired of this. I'm going to go home. This isn't working. You know, I'm here. You asked me to lay my life down at you. Call me to this field of ministry. What's going on God?

Your five comes in. 4 years of nothing your five comes in. All of a sudden he's Grace with favor and people start being friendly towards him.

As a favor came in and people start being friendly. He got to know if a family Is it a Muslim country guys? Family Guy led to the Lord then they told their friends and then their friends got led to the Lord. Now we turned into five years of nothing is now this exciting thing in your number five or six because you were starting to come to the Lord. Sometimes you are toiling. God can produce the character and you so you can carry the move of God he's bringing with you.

This is my ending note. Sometimes the toiling and a lot of time the toiling in your life the frustration the hardship is to produce the character within you so you can sustain and carry the move of God upon you.

So you do not grow weary. I'm getting power in that word Matt one more time and then we're done.

When you are frustrated angry upset because things are going right. You've been toiling you've been trying you're ready to quit.

You feel like giving up you feel like the whole world is against you. Stay in that position. Because God is creating the character inside of you. He's creating Christ in you, which is the hope of glory so that when God's spirit comes upon you it's a move of God that is sustained and doesn't fizzle out.

But you're able to give it from generation to generation and long after you're dead and gone. Your testimony is still changing lives.
