Romans 12:6 Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith;
Galatians 2:8–9 (for He who effectually worked for Peter in his apostleship to the circumcised effectually worked for me also to the Gentiles), and recognizing the grace that had been given to me, James and Cephas and John, who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, so that we might go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.
Ephesians 3:2 if indeed you have heard of the stewardship of God’s grace which was given to me for you;
Ephesians 3:7 of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of God’s grace which was given to me according to the working of His power.

because I have the divine gift of being an apostle

2 Timothy 1:13 NASB95
Retain the standard of sound words which you have heard from me, in the faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.
2 John 9 NASB95
Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son.
1 Timothy 6:3 NASB95
If anyone advocates a different doctrine and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness,
no division among you - orginization - no division with in the body
perfectly joined together in the same mind and - same thought
Philippians 4:8 NASB95

works of the flesh

he is conceited and understands nothing; but he has a morbid interest in controversial questions and disputes about words, out of which arise envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions,
result of false doctrine
v. 13 Christ has been divided by their controversies
you should where the name of the one who bought you and was crucified for you
v. 17 not with wisdom of words
1 Corinthians 3:10 NASB95
According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it.
architect - he has the plans given by God, building followers of Christ not Paul that's what matters
wisdom (sophia) -
1 Corinthians 1:19 NASB95
For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And the cleverness of the clever I will set aside.”
1 Corinthians 1:20 NASB95
Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
1 Corinthians 1:21 NASB95
For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, God was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.
1 Corinthians 1:22 NASB95
For indeed Jews ask for signs and Greeks search for wisdom;
1 Corinthians 1:26–27 NASB95
For consider your calling, brethren, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble; but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong,
1 Corinthians 2:1 NASB95
And when I came to you, brethren, I did not come with superiority of speech or of wisdom, proclaiming to you the testimony of God.
1 Corinthians 2:4 NASB95
and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
1 Corinthians 2:5–6 NASB95
so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God. Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are mature; a wisdom, however, not of this age nor of the rulers of this age, who are passing away;
2 types of wisdom
manly wisdom
godly wisdom
you want no division then listen to godly wisdom and not of men
the structure which everything after chapter rest on, if you don’t accept the first four chapters then you won’t accept what he has to say afterwards in real life situations
that's the dumbest thing I have ever heard (Christianity)
foolishness - is the opposite of wisdom
v. 18 those that are perishing - that’s foolishness
saved - that is wisdom of God the message of the cross
a. The love of God - Jn 3:16.
b. The justice of God - Rom 3:26.
c. The value of the blood of Christ - 1 Jn 2:2.
d. The worth of a single soul - Gal 2:20; Mt 16:26.
v. 19 who are the intelligent? degrees and man with mans methods can learn except if God tells it or reveals it
1 Corinthians 2:9 NASB95
but just as it is written, Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, And which have not entered the heart of man, All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”
human wisdom couldn’t find it
Isaiah 29:14 NASB95
Therefore behold, I will once again deal marvelously with this people, wondrously marvelous; And the wisdom of their wise men will perish, And the discernment of their discerning men will be concealed.”
Paul used it to suggest:
a. The plan of salvation is not from man.
b. It is unlike anything man’s wisdom would produce.
c. Worldly-wise men may be expected to reject and oppose it.
d. Its success will surprise and astound the worldly-wise.
e. Only the humble in mind will receive it.
Some things about God’s plan which the worldly-wise will despise:
a. It says man is too ignorant to devise a way to save himself.
b. It says man is too weak to save himself from his sins.
c. It says man left to himself is too filthy for fellowship with God.
all the wisdom plan and purpose of God is wrapped up in Christ - and that is what Paul preaches
Colossians 2:8 NASB95
See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ.
Colossians 2:2–4 NASB95
that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I say this so that no one will delude you with persuasive argument.
they think they have truth but Christ is the truth and Paul is the ambassador of Christ
they were not asked to contribute their knowledge to the plan of salvation
v. 26 your calling (some vocation)

Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively applied to myself and Apollos for your sakes, so that in us you may learn not to exceed what is written, so that no one of you will become arrogant in behalf of one against the other.
2 Corinthians 10:12 NASB95
For we are not bold to class or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves; but when they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are without understanding.
2 Corinthians 10:17–18 NASB95
But he who boasts is to boast in the Lord. For it is not he who commends himself that is approved, but he whom the Lord commends.
Answers, Wisdom, & Truth is in Jesus Christ

redemption - slaves of sin and jesus paid the price to buy us out of slavery
v. 31 if I have something it is because God gave it to me
if we put our mind on God revelation we can be unified but if we put it on human wisdom then there will be division
competion is perscription for disunity
cooperation is perscription for unity
