  1. Follow Jesus’ example of meekness.
    1. Humility means putting Christ first, others second, and self last. It means knowing ourselves, accepting ourselves, and being ourselves to the glory of God. God does not condemn you when you accept yourself and your gifts (Rom. 12:3). He just does not want us to think more highly of ourselves than we ought to—or less highly than we ought to. [1]
    2. Accept ourselves and the gifts God gave us-Rom 12:3
  2. Follow Jesus whatever it costs.
    1. The Widow Gave all she had - Luke 21:1-4
    2. Later, I’ve something else to do now-Luke 9:57-62
    3. Do what’s right no matter what it costs- Rich Young Ruler- Luke 18:22
    4. Whatever it takes- Luke 9:23-26
  3. It’s not what we profess as much as what we do
    1. Not everyone that says it means it -Matt. 7:21–27
