·          Angel appears to Zechariah

Lk 1:12 (KJVS)

·          Angel gives news to Zechariah

Zechariah said to the angel, “How can I be sure this will happen? I’m an old man now, and my wife is also well along in years.”

·          Zechariah said "Be Sure" then gave the excuse. He was in disbelief when he heard the news.

·          The angel made Zechariah mute, so he wouldn't spread his disbelief.

·          Angel appears to Mary
