II. Body

A. Babies crave fresh, not spoiled, milk
                      Mom changing type of milk

1. Vices – my own thoughts/words
               If I can’t feed myself, how can I get milk?

2. Spiritual Milk – God’s Word (logikos gala)
               God’s Word is spiritual milk for us!

B. "Spiritual Milk" = Word of God

1. God's Word nourishes our souls
               Not commentary notes, but God’s Word

2. God's Word causes our souls to mature
               We are challenged, stretched by God’s Word

       C. Cravings For God Come From God

               1. Spiritual Growth After Conversion/Baptism

               2. We’ve Enjoyed the Best – Why Settle for Less?

               3. Feeding others draws us back to God’s Word
                      (Acts 8 – Philip & Ethiopean)
