PLANTING THE SEEDS AND LET GOD WATER THEM.

The Illustration i’m about to give to you touched my heart and gave me chills and, is the reason I felt God leading me to preach on this subject.
We all want to see people get saved right?
Sometimes when we witness to others, we don’t see the results right away, but the seed was planted.
We need to pray that God will water that seed with the conviction of the Holy Spirit.
So, the seed that we plant will blossom.
The Shadow of the Cross.
A young man who had been raised as an atheist was training to be an Olympic diver. The only Christian influence in his life came from his outspoken Christian friend.
The young diver never really paid much attention to his friend’s witnessing, but he heard every word he said about the Lord Jesus Christ.
One night the young man went to the indoor pool at the college he attended. The light were off, but as the pool had a big skylights and the moon was bright, there was plenty of light to practice by.
The young man climbed up to the highest diving board and as he turned his back to the pool on the edge of the board and extended his arms out, he saw his shadow on the wall.
The shadow of his body was in the shape of a cross. Instead of diving, he knelt down and asked the Lord Jesus Christ to become his personal saviour. As the young man stood after he recieved the Lord Jesus Christ.,
A maintenance man walked in and turned the lights on and the pool had been drained for repairs.
Pray!
Luke 8:4–8 KJV 1900
And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable: A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it. And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
I like what the disciples The Lord, what does this parable mean?
Luke 8:9 KJV 1900
And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?
And I love the Lord Jesus Christ answer!
Luke 8:10–18 KJV 1900
And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light. For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
As Born Again Christian’s we are required to do two things, to keeps the unsaved peoples blood off are hands and they are?
Share the Gospel.
Matthew 28:18–20 KJV 1900
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Give a warning where they will go, if they refuse God’s Son, and save blood for being on your hands.
Ezekiel 3:17–18 KJV 1900
Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
We may never see the seeds that we have planted grow, as in the illustration I gave earlier, but we all must plant seeds at every opportunity.
We must then pray that God water it with the conviction of the Holy Ghost.
