Election is one of the great truths of the Bible.
For many it’s a doctrine that is avoided.
Just the very thought of the word, brings butterflies to people’s stomachs.
It’s a shame, because the Bible doesn’t talk about it as if it’s a bad thing.
Ephesians 1:4 describes election and predestination as a product of God’s love for us.
“In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.”
So how dare we be quiet when talking about it.
We are going to be in II Thessalonians 2:13-15, and we see 3 truths about election.
