Sermon Prep | James 3:1–12

Jame speaks with a laser sharp focus concerning the importance and responsibility of the office of teacher. While he explicitly discourages eagerness to teach, the application of this text to the body of Christ at large (and not just the teacher) is apparent.

Whether we display discipline and control over our tongues or we speak freely with disregard to others, our words have power.

opening us to the things of the spirit/operating in the flesh
